Food wasn’t as expected
Corn cakes were cooked differently, only good part was the fresh toppings.
Other apitizer was a bit salty, over cooked. Didn’t look apitizing.
Bloody Mary was a bit over iced. Could used less ice. They use to give coronita, now they didn’t asked but just replaced with Modelo.

I had a really good dining experience at the Highland House. There are a lot of different food items to choose from. I got the Mahi Tuna Steak Sandwich and sweet potato fries and it was delicious. Service treated us very well and there are a lot of very cool decorations around the place

This restaurant is very stylish and the bar has very cool blue lights.
I have ate here 4 ⏲️ times. All good experiences. Value for what you spend you get a nice size portion.

I’ve been to Highland house probably over 25 times over the years. Last night I had the most amazing meal as did my friend. We both said it was the best dish we’ve ever had there. We enjoyed two of their bowls. When was chicken and the other was tequila shrimp. The dish was so flavorful and fresh! I could go back there today and order the same thing. We had really nice wait staff. He was attentive, a nice sense of humor and respected our timeframe.

I don’t review often, but when I have incredible service, I feel the need to. Tonight, my two friends and I had a pretty great meal. The cocktails were great. My Paloma was perfect and my vegetarian burger was very good. The portion sizes are ridiculous. I have never seen a burrito so big.
The real reason I am commenting is our server Eva. She helped with great recommendations, was very personable, and anticipated everything. Her conversation was never stale with the “how are things tasting?” style of customer service. She really cared and worked hard to ensure we were having a great night. She also noticed the little things, like how we stopped eating and needed boxes. Seriously, I can’t express how much Eva made the experience 110% better. We will definitely be back.

Ive been enjoying this place for 25 years. Jalapeño ranch sauce is drinkable. General go to is there fajitas, but their burgers are awesome also. Chimichanga is a must, and their tacos are stellar.
Great selection of drinks, prickly pear margaritas are top notch.
Cant go wrong, plenty of indoor and heated outdoor seating.

We ordered the blackened shrimp bowl and the lobster & shrimp enchiladas—both were super flavorful and hit the spot.
Service was solid, and the prices were reasonable for how tasty everything was as well as the portion sizes. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and craving something delicious

We had a party of about 75 people in the bottom floor and it was the perfect space to have it! Not only was the food delicious and the drinks were tasty, but the staff was so incredibly helpful, informative, and genuinely great people! If you go the buffet route for a party, it is worth the extra few dollars to go the fajita route! The meats were incredibly flavorful! There was 1 bartender and 1 waitress who ran the show and they handled our entire party guests without breaking a sweat! If you want to host a party here, it is highly recommended.

Fun experience with a great outdoor patio. A bit too much Canadian smoke to eat outdoors, but good enough for a cocktail after dinner inside. Food is different than traditional Mexican. The Southwest egg rolls ruled the appetizer combo. Not much spice, but plenty of flavor. The pork belly tacos with rice and beans are really good. They come with a chicharron on top, and some funk from the cotija cheese. Also tried the salmon which was grilled and got the sauce on the side. No time for dessert this time. Service was a bit lacking. Maybe someone called in or something. Service had a smile, but was nowhere to be found most of the time. Food came out fast though, so kitchen staff was on point.

We had a big group of 12 at Highland House and they served us extremely well! Highland House serves Mexican-American and American fare. The quesadillas were delicious, the margaritas tasty, and the service was excellent. They even have a rewards system to save up for a free meal! We’ll come back here!
