Stopped here while driving through the state for a quick dinner. The weather was amazing and they had a few outdoor tables on the sidewalk. Seems every restaurant in town serves pizza so we got a margarita to split between the two of us. It was really really good. Inside looked very clean and nice and the staff were friendly too. Definitely recommend!

I wish there were half star ratings because I would have given this place 3.5. the atmosphere was nice, very clean, the only complaint is that it was very cold inside and the table they sat us at had cold air blowing directly on it from a vent. My friend complained and the waitress said they would turn it off which was very nice. The table was quite small and would not hold all the dishes we ordered so we had to move to a larger table. Right away I noticed there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table (which I always interpret as a display of arrogance by the chef). We started with the focaccia with whipped ricotta, the focaccia was outstanding, the best I’ve ever had. The inside was super soft and stretchy, with a nice crisp buttery crust. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Amazing texture and flavor. The whipped ricotta had a nice creamy texture with a decent amount of black pepper on it , which I would imagine some people may not like. We also got the hummus appetizer, that was also really great, the hummus was very creamy and flavorful, the crispy chickpeas on top added some crunch and also had a nice flavor. We tried the chicken and rice stuffed pepper and we both enjoyed that as well..nice flavor profile with the coffee mole, chicken was tender. My friend ordered the cauliflower appetizer which he said was good but had some extremely hot peppers in it. I had the crispy potato dish and I thought it was good but nothing to write home about. (That’s when I wished they had a salt shaker on the table) The dish that we were both most excited for and both disappointed by were the carrots, they were served cold. We were not expecting that…the texture of the carrots was good, they were soft and browned but serving them cold was completely unappealing. I was also expecting to taste the cardamom but it was overpowered by some type of vinegar flavor which I couldn’t place because there was nothing with vinegar in the dish. The only thing I can guess is the tamarind and apricot juices mixed together may have given it that acidic flavor. The service was great, the food came out extremely fast, although when our first dish was brought the waitress forgot to give us plates and we had to wait a few minutes for another waitress to notice and bring some plates over so we could begin eating. Overall it was good but nothing to rave about, we both agreed it was not something we would go back for, although if I lived in the area I would absolutely order that focaccia regularly.

We had a triple date there and the food from appetizer to main course were awesome. Something as simple as almonds with special seasonings blew me away to start our appetizer. Then the tahini cauliflower was the bomb. My swordfish was perfectly done and the pizzas my friends ordered were as they put is “best pizza I ever had”. Top it off with amazing service from the sweetest staff.

Beautiful Beautiful
Went to to celebrate my birthday. I had the ribeye steak, and a kale Caesar salad, both which were fantastic. The desserts were beautiful too, had a light Japanese cheesecake and an amazing chocolate covered fruity tasting ice cream. I forgot what it was called but it was awesome.

In Ellicottville to celebrate New Years weekend and wanted to get out to somewhere new. We heard about West Rose and wanted to check it out. We got a reservation in advance (highly recommended). On arrival we were greeted and seated promptly.

AMAZING. Came here for brunch and got to downtown a bit earlier than we expected, we had a reservation for 12:15 and they were still willing and able to seat us at 11:30. The hostess noticed the note on my reservation we were in town for an anniversary, congratulated us and sat us at the chefs bar where you can eat and see the chefs prepare food.

This was our favourite restaurant in Ellicottville, we came for supper and brunch. If you get a chance, sit at the bar and you can see all of the pizzas being made. The cocktails were fantastic. We also had pizza for supper and pancakes for brunch. Super friendly staff. We’ll definitely visit again.

Love the atmosphere and the vibe! Downstairs regular dining has always been a great experience for us. If you want something more fun & laid back the upstairs noodle bar is what’s up. Mark & JP are amazing. So friendly and such an asset to this restaurant! We have hung out up there for hours, alone & with friends. They are always the best & the noodle are incredible! Must try, 10/10

Omfg. 4.8 on Google seriously. Where do you people dine…dominoes. Probably the worst brick oven pizza I have ever had. My family and I love brick oven. We have had it all across the states but so far the worst we have had. Carolyn our waitress was very kind, friendly and accommodating. Took the pizza off our bill. But 3 wasted pizzas. We all had 1 slice if that out of 3 ordered between 1 adult and 2 kids and offered to box it up. Thanks but if i can’t eat here why would I eat at home. Smh. Super salty and greasy..awful. definitely will not return. Atmosphere was nice..service was slow..and definitely need more menu options.
