Look, I understand that this is a locally owned pizzeria and not a BIG chain store, but for the cost to value of goods, I just cannot support this. I base this opinion on several things that my wife and I experienced during our dining experience.

First off, the price. It has been literally years since my wife and I dined at this restaurant and we thought it would be fun to visit and eat while supporting a local establishment. The place was busy for a Friday night, but there was a table available when we walked in. She loves their taco pizza and is excited to order that since, again, it has been years.

We look at the pricing for a 8” personal pizza and I am floored. Almost $20 for a 8” pizza? WOW! This is not including drinks or salad bar………….nothing added, that is just the pizza.
Now, I understand inflation and the cost of goods have gone up, but holy smokes, that is a nice chunk of change for a personal pizza.

My wife asks if she can order a one-time trip to the salad bar and is told no. If she wants the salad bar, then it is $7+ dollars for the all you can eat salad bar. Or they can bring you a house salad of lettuce & tomato for just shy of $4. I don’t eat tomatoes but am told that I could get the house salad minus the tomatoes. So literally, just lettuce and some dressing for $4? I’ll pass, thanks. Too bad they missed a perfect opportunity to up sell here.

I ordered the all meat 8” personal pizza at a staggering $23+ dollars and in my mind, I know I will never come back here just because of the cost alone.

The server then brings the taco sauce for my wife’s pizza and the sauce inside the bottle at the top is dried up, the tip is broken off, cap is nonexistent, and there is dried taco sauce on the outside of the top. My wife opts to not use it due to this and the potential consumption safety concern there.

My pizza arrives and it is loaded with Italian sausage and beef. Somewhere under all the sausage and beef, I can make out a few pepperonis and some Canadian bacon. What I can’t seem to find is much sauce or cheese. The Italian sausage and beef completely overwhelm what little of the other ingredients there are, and the crust itself really doesn’t have much of a flavor at all. I end up scraping the majority of the sausage and beef off of the pizza.
At this point, I KNEW the bill was going to be high, but I suppose that is the price you pay for nostalgia. The bill arrives, and it is just shy of $50 for the following: 2- 8” pizzas & 2 drinks.

I tipped accordingly at 18%-20% and as I signed the merchant copy of the bill, I knew I would not be returning here. Not trying to be mean at all here, but I have had better tasting pizza from Papa John’s, Little Caesar, & Pizza Hut for a fraction of the cost.
The only thing West Main Pizza delivers for me is a bit of nostalgia and for it to cost me almost $60 for two mediocre pizzas and a couple of drinks, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Please understand, the owners did nothing wrong at all, just when it comes to people’s perception of value and quality, West Main Pizza did not meet my expectations. That is all. The cost to value for me was not there which simply means I will not frequent this establishment in the future based on what I feel quality and services warrant my money.

It does not get any better than this locally owned and managed pizza and spaghetti house. Pizza made from scratch right in front where you can watch if you choose. Staff is great. The owner makes his rounds showing off his great southern hospitality. He also was introducing his 2 sons soon to take over this gem of restaurant! Keep doing what you are doing!

I ordered by phone. (2nd day in a row matter of fact! )
I ordered the Deluxe pizza extra cheese. Talk about good! Yes, its a bit pricey as I, along with others have said, BUT! Its a TREAT! And you won’t find another pizza like it around here. Its ORIGINAL and DEFINITELY ONE OF A KIND!
Its not all about the CRUST. Its the toppings that really make it so delicious, in my opinion. And the workers are always steady at work and always very KIND/POLITE to me. As for me? I LIKE IT! Its a treat! And you should try it at least once! Don’t go by what the nay sayers , say. If you try it and then decide, nahhhhh ….its not for you. Then so be it. Just scoot on down the road.
there are many others who know and appreciate a good pizza! Blessings to all who read this!

HIT THE SPOT! Stopping through Houma for work and looking for a good, locally owned restaurant open past 9:00 and this place was PERFECT! Prompt service, kind, and great atmosphere… but the pizza!!! Wow! Waitress offered to split even a small pizza, doing ½ seafood and ½ BBQ- which wasn’t your “chain restaurant” bbq pizza- this was AUTHENTIC bbq shredded beef and it was perfect! The seafood was fresh and tasted local as well! Highly recommend! A must try spot!

West main has been my favorite pizza place forever. The pizzas are so delicious you don’t mind it being so hot it burns the roof off your mouth. I’m not usually one for thin crust but there’s no topping West main’s signature cracker like crust. Every. Pizza. Is. Delicious. And if you look at the menu and see “Dave’s special” in front of an item, you better try it. My wife always gets the spaghetti and loves the roasted onions, pepperoni, and peppers that are packed in it. The burger is equally stuffed and makes it one of the best around.
While this place is old and in need of some TLC, it’s still the only place in Houma I come to when I need my own self care.

The service was great… the food and price WAS NOT GREAT…. . I’ve given it 2 trys and both times we believe it did NOT live up to the expectations and let’s not mention I paid 70$ for 3 PERSONAL pizza’s * it was pick up so that’s literally just 3 small pizza’s nothing else * outrageous right!!!!!! my family won’t be back due to the cost ain’t worth the food in our opinion.

Very expensive…$45 for just one 13″ pizza, no drinks or anything! Pizza was average. The crust is the floppy/limp kind. Pepper’s Pizzeria is much better.
