West Main Pizza in Plainville is an absolute gem. The pizza crust is amazing and worthy of my out of town visit every time I visit family. They have a great food for price value.

Come here every time we go to The Crossings flea market next door (go by there…Ozzy’s Collectables on the bottom floor is a great store!). Come from New Haven area and we actually like the pizza here…not thin crust but not super thick like some Greek pizza places are. Usually get the one with pepperoni and green peppers. Have gotten some subs, wings and mozz sticks before that were also tasty. Today I tried their spanicopita. I worked in a Greek restaurant for years and they had very good spinach pie but sometimes it was so flakey it was hard to eat. Decided to try West Main’s today. It didn’t disappoint… and it was softer so it was leaving flakes all over the place. It was very creamy and garlicy. I really enjoyed it.

Bacons and meatball pizzas with Cajun dry rubbed and Buffalo sauced wings and a side order of calamari. Food came out quick, server was amazing, attentive and over the top friendly! Can’t remember her name, but I would come back just for her.

West Main Pizza has been there forever, so it must be good?? Dinner visit for pizza was great. Seated right away by friendly staff. Interior of restaurant was clean. Pizza was served hot and cooked perfectly. Toppings were fresh and adequate amount. Can easily see returning to West Main Pizza again.

Used to be good but no more. Ordered a greek salad that was basically a tossed salad for the price of a greek salad…terrible. Service at this place is horrible too and I would not recommend ordering here. If you live in the area order from Pizza Pal in New Britain…best pizza and excellent service.

Horrible experience asking for a special pizza with no mushrooms pizza came out after 40 minutes full of mushroom. I was told that they could take it back to pick out the mushrooms for me. I opted not to and to pick them out myself. They drowned the pizza in mushroom it tasted horrible and was told for my displeasure that they would discount a portion of the meal. 2 dollars off. best in Connecticut 2013 how far you have fallen

Burnt to a crisp. Not a little but charred. Grinders, pizza and wings. I dont understand how a restaurant could let food leave in that condition.
On a semi positive note they refunded half of the $100+ bill. 100% of the food burned. See attached pictures.
I have lived here for 35 years my wife 58 years. We will not order here again.
A day later they refunded the rest. I guess it’s hard to find good help these days.

Family restaurant feeding Plainville for over 70yrs After reading some extreme reviews I had to go… Ordered shrimp/spinach dinner special served/w salad garlic bread choice of pasta, very good portion tasted wonderful size#26-30 shrimps, salad with fresh greens! 40 seat dinning room, 40 seat bar/lounge the place is packed on Fridays They run out of pizzas on occasion, so busy! No worries they deal from the next day supply! The bar was shoulder to shoulder, well maintained and constantly cleaned enjoy
