We have passed by here so many times and never had the time to stop. Last August there was a more leisurely day and had lunch here on a perfect summer day.
Our order was 1 buffalo chicken quesadilla and 1 chicken crunch wrap supreme. There was about a 10 minute or so wait for the food. The truck is parked in a beautiful spot and it was lovely just waiting outside for it to be ready.
Both of the items were good. Quesadilla was browned nicely. The flavor was a combination of the taco seasoning used to season the chicken and buffalo sauce. Hubby ate it no problem, but the 2 mixed together wasn’t my favorite. We both enjoyed the crunch wrap.
Overall, this a good option if you are on your way and would like something to eat on your way.

This is a true gem of a roadside food stand! The food is great, the grounds are clean and well kept, and there are swings and play stations to keep young ones occupied. The stand is well off the road and surrounded by a large mowed lawn. Holly and Elizabeth are the BEST.

The best taco bowl and tacos anywhere, and always consistent. Picnic tables to sit at with a beautiful view. Once a week we drive an hour for these delicious offerings. Well worth the drive and the prices are excellent. They even have small airplanes fly in for their food, if that don’t speak volumes about their food, i don’t know what will. The shells are made fresh daily.

The taco salad with chicken, rice, beans salsa & guac was Delicious!! The homemade salsa that was amazing. Large beef tacos were excellent too. Large portions, reasonable prices. Will definitely go again!!!

Came upon this little taco stand in the middle of a field off the backroads heading towards Smugglers Knotch. Our car of 2 teens and 4 adults needed something to reduce the hangry, and The Taco Joint delivered! Proprietor was not upset when we asked to remake a burrito without cheese, and the picnic tables out there in the grass parking area gave us a place to decompress having been held up in the car for 6 hours. Beef was well seasoned and the randomness and belly busting of it all made for a nice sunset overlooking the mountain countryside. $6/pp including drinks, menu included large and small tacos, loaded nachos and burritos. Make The Taco Joint part of your VT mountain journey!

Great family run taco place! Lots of options to get exactly what you want. Lots of fun ordering, and saw a lot of people that called ahead for pick up. Everything was ready for them, and I only had to wait 5-7 minutes for my food to be ready! An Awesome place & you should definitely check it out!
