I hosted a baby shower at West Bend for my best friend.
There is no way I could be happier with the outcome. Josh was phenomenal to work with through the entire process. The price was great, brunch was perfect, and venue was just amazing.
Courtney was our attendant and was so professional and kind. Josh, the owner, was so relaxed and accommodating for all my specific requests. Both Josh and Courtney helped from start to finish with carrying items from the car to helping clean (not only their stuff but all of ours as well).
Brunch was so delish! To the point I took home bacon so it wouldn’t go to waste ;).
He had coffee freshly brewed from The Dapper Bean (such a great touch!)
The venue is beautiful and was the perfect size. Highly recommend and wouldn’t change a thing if I had to re-do!

This place is fantastic, especially after camping or hiking around Pilot Mountain. The grilled chicken salad, live music, and an ice-cold beer hit the spot. Everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. I love the tight-knit community feel there, too. I wish I could be there for the corn hole tournament.

We stayed with Harvest Host and had a great time. Friendly staff and patrons, delicious food from the food truck. I recommend the brisket! Beautiful scenery, clean facilities and great live music. Would definitely visit again.

West End is an amazing place!! Kid friendly (play grown, games and room to run). Has a great selection of beer and wine, plus great food. Philly Cheese Stake was amazing plus the Mac & Cheese. Everyone was so kind and answered any question we had. Music was a great add on. The view was stunning and was even about to see some deer. I highly recommend for a date or a family get to get to gather!!

The new owners have let this place go. The “tasting room” (I use this term lightly because they don’t actually have much to taste) looks like it is run by 15 year old boys. Most of the property is overgrown. It appears they have let the vines die. Their wine menu had 4 Westbend wines that were all old. The rest were brought in. The beer menu had 4 (but one had kicked) beers that were theirs, the rest were outside craft beer. The immediate property around the tasting room is nice, but yard and a place for live music. Could be a great place to hang out. I understand if they don’t want to make their own stuff, but they need a major rebranding, a shift in focus, and to start caring about their business. It’s really sad to see this happen to what was once a great place to hang out.

Fun, down to earth vibe, music, and good wine and beer. The service was excellent and the pizza was pretty good. Actually all of their food looked pretty good. My only critique is if they could please update their board game selection a little bit,many people were trying to use them. But, other than that, we had a fun time.

Space is beautiful. Great patio next to the vibes which are some of the oldest in NC. Wine is too far on the sweet end for me personally and beers are also missing something. They allow carry in food so nice place to chill. There’s a stage with live music on weekends. Service is sketchy so be patient. The tasting room is great for groups and is cellar temperature so bring a jacket!

Great wine and beer. Some of the best brisket from the food truck I have ever had. Live band tonight and we are Harvest Host in our motorhome on site. Beautiful property and fun experience.

Our first visit was a disappointment and poorly handled by management. They anticipated a large crowd due to a popular local band, but didn’t prepare for it. Long lines for bathrooms, food, and drink. Food (2 burgers and a flatbread pizza) ordered around 7:30 pm was ready at 10:05 pm. We had already received a refund and left at that point. It’s a great little spot with a ton of potential, and their food problems are easily solved by bringing in a food truck for big crowds, or allowing people to bring in their own food. We’ll try this place again in the future and update the review if they get their act together around food service.
