I don’t usually eat fast food anymore, however I enjoy I nice greasy burger every once and awhile. This location has pretty good service and quality. My burger was good, don’t know if it was made fresh or if the patties we’re pre cooked or not. My chicken strips tasted like they had been sitting in the warmer for a while.

I get that 5 stars for Wendy’s is kinda suspect, but from the perspective of “Yo, I’m hungry man, and I want some burgers!” or “Dang! I’m late and I need to eat breakfast so I don’t get hangry around 11!” it’s legit 5 of 5. Specifically this location. In fact I’ll just say it, I think Salem in general has some of the best Fast Food Artists in the World. But I’ll stick to these ones here at Wendy’s on South Commercial. I go through here a lot, and even when I can tell there’s some drama brewing somewhere in the hierarchy, I get consistently good service, good attitudes, and good quality fast food. And I order from my phone a lot. Which means sometimes I doctor up my Baconator to be like a gigantic Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, or get crazy with the extra pickles, no ketchup, extra mustard, and they get it right. Nobody chucks my bag at me with a look, nobody is having a meltdown because the pattern got broken, no smoke out the windows or nothin’. When they’re out of something, they help me out to figure out a substitution. I’m just saying, I’ve been meaning to say something for awhile, but broh told me he was “terribly sorry” for a 30 second wait at the speaker, and then worked through the trials and tribulations of the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine to get me my Powerade Extra Sour Peach Pucker. With even a couple more “terribly sorries” thrown in, to where I was getting embarrassed, but I wasn’t going to lay that on him. So I just said, “no worries at all, man!” and went on my merry way with a smile on my face that wasn’t there before. And that was already yesterday, so it matters even more. Although technically I was searching through my Google maps lists and stumbled on my profile and review recommendations requests tab, and this was first on the list and there’s no way I’m doing another one today because this was legendary, but hey. Boom. Lucky days or whatever.
Do yourself a favor and get some Wendy’s at this joint if you’re hemming and hawing over where to get that satisfaction. Consistent. That’s important, and impressive, because there’s been quite a bit of turnover and it’s still good. Must be a good manager, too. Nice work.

It’s fast food so I don’t compare it to restaurants, however the burger I ordered was cold despite me eating it there.
They were kind and took my order quickly despite them being busy.
The mango pineapple lemonade was great.
Inside was clean and well maintained.

We stopped by this Wendy’s because we were in a hurry and just needed something quick before heading to our next stop. The guy taking our order was actually pretty nice, but he kept messing things up—not just once, but a few times. When he finally got through the food order, he still had trouble with my mom and dad’s coffee. Even after they explained what they wanted and he nodded like he understood, he still got it wrong.
What was supposed to be a quick stop ended up taking about 10 extra minutes, which made us late to where we were headed. The food itself was fine, but the slow service at the counter definitely threw us off schedule.

Doors were locked. Manager was extremely rude at pick up window for DoorDash. Never had a problem in six years until her. She needs to go.

The lack of attention to my order astounds me. No straw for my drink. No pecans for my salad. No correct vinaigrette for my salad either. The service was lacking also. The window girl lacked even the most basic customer service skills. She was very snotty.
This location is usually my favorite. Maybe it was just an off day all around for them.

My first and last time coming here – 10 piece nugget only had 8 stale nuggets, missing a regular nugget, missing a fry, fries we did revive were hard and cold. I was one of two customers.. there were plenty of people working, not sure how my order was so off and so horrible.

Horrible customer service! I ordered a chicken sandwich and a baconator both sandwiches were only meat and bread no condiments no cheese no veggies. When I called in lady was super rude and denied my order even existed! Then claimed to be the manager and refused to give me her name. Then she hung up on me!

UPDATE 12/5/2022- well, this is the first time in my life that a fast food worker was so disgruntled they actually balled my French fries into a ball and crammed then into the container. They were so tightly crammed I didn’t even pull them apart to try to eat them. It would be nice if you could get any kind of nicety from the window brothers. I come here way less anymore. Only if I’m desperate. Probably not even that anymore. Wadded the French fries into a ball and crammed them into the container. Just felt I should repeat that.

I eat here all the time. The customer service is really great. That’s what stands out to me here. Even during rush when the line is long, I’m not getting grief at the window.

I didn’t get what I ordered, but it was close enough. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a spicy chicken sandwich, what I got was a spicy asiago sandwich and a normal chicken sandwich. At least they got it right to keep tomatoes off, so I thank them for that.
