On a whim, and after hearing that Wendy’s is closing some stores across the state, I decided to stop by for old times’ sake.
Food:
Dave’s Single (2.5/5)
Savory and tasty overall, but the tomato slice was hard, which really took away from the burger.
Small Fries (2/5)
I miss when the fries had the skin on them. These were also a bit too salty for my taste.
Drink:
Chose my own. Not rated.
Ambiance:
There was a homeless man outside the drive-thru, which seems to be common for many fast food places in this area. Other than that, it felt like a normal fast food environment.
Service (3/5):
There were issues with the machine not reading my app code. It happened enough times that they eventually just gave me the deal without using the app, which I appreciated.

A real chill atmosphere on a cold rainy day. The cashier was friendly as well as the person who gave me my foot who made sure I had all of the condiments I wanted. The food was correct and was pretty good as well !!!

Update: Feb 8/26.
Our family goes here quite often and usually has a enjoyable experience.
This time we went for 3 biggie bags. Noo one in the drive through with us. We were asked to pull ahead and wait for food, which is normal and understandable.
This time we waited for over 13 minutes with no one else coming through the drive through behind us as we parked just in front of it by an entrance. We figured “okay cool, we get hot fresh fries or something”
Nope.
We got 3 absolutely cold biggie bags with soggy cold fries and buns,
1 of them had nice hot fresh 4 nuggets while the other 2 were hardly room temp.
Like they bagged up all the food and set it on a tray and took a break, then came back to put 4 fresh nugget in one of the bags.
Our ravenous 9 year old wouldn’t even eat the soggy fries or cold sad burger. Only her hot nuggets. We had to make something else for dinner.
Usually we have a great experience, that’s why we always come back. Sad day.

The order Jr bacon cheeseburger and frys and a sprite! Going to Wendy’s is a treat! I was so disappointed,! My burger was dry, my bread was hard and stiff! My frys were cooled! And missing like half of the bag! THE Restaurant wasn’t busy but I waiting 20 minutes! For that! I wanted a fresh burger waited in line! And was told if I wanted another burger I have to buy another! I just wanted to trade! No big deal! I decided to leave because the staff got really mad! And saying mean stuff! It’s my favorite Wendy’s!

Now this is a Wendy’s! If you see my other reviews, I’ve had numerous problems with the Wendy’s locations around Portland, especially Grand Ave and Lombard (for the love of god don’t go to either) and this location blows the others completely out of the water. The drive through line was surprisingly quick, employees were quick, maybe a little too quick lol, but still perfectly polite. Food and frosty came out looking like actual edible treats and a meal instead of smashed and melted mush. Wasn’t crazy busy either! At least when I went around 9pm, that might vary by day and time. If you are put off and hate these other locations, this one is pretty damn good. I definitely recommend it.

Very slow and yhe guy had me pay $0.50 for a Honey Mustard, but then walked away without giving it to me. Had to wait for someone else to show up at the window and let them know i paid and the guy just walked away. Service was sort of crap, but the food was good.

I want to file a complaint about the poor treatment and poor work ethic from the bald man who works at night! He’s extremely rude, racist, and disrespectful! After waiting in line for half an hour at the drive-thru, I asked for something else, and he told me to go back to the line! So, isn’t my time important too? This guy is abusive!

Well i went through the drive thru and the guy clearly wasn’t listening to me saying to double tap the side button for my tap to pay, he proceeded to ignore me and insisted my card didn’t work. He was upset about his “time going up” and he didn’t “have time” to resolve the issue. I ended up just leaving because of how rude and UNHELPFUL he was.. like maybe redirect me inside or something? Idk completely rude service.
Also I just wasted a free small frosty that i had earned in reward points, since I didn’t ever get anything at all. Then he had the audacity to charge me for a MEDIUM biggie deal instead of the actual $6 it SAYS ON THE MENU.. not cool

Every time I come here they’re parking me. They also park other customers. They’re more worried about their drive thru time than their customers. They park me and bring out cold and greasy fries and the nuggets are greasy and falling apart as if they dunked them back in the fryer to make them fresh. It just makes everything soggy.

I would not recommend using this Wendy’s. Unfortunately this location needs a lot of help. They do not successfully deliver “fast” food. The workforce is understaffed and undertrained, so it takes them way too long to get orders out. Standing in the dining room watching 3 people try to figure out how to fill an order while the kitchen calls out all of the food that is done.
