Last Taco Tico in Oklahoma. I had to try it. Had Sanchos, which i used to devour all the time. They were pretty good, but not quite like what I remember.
The place is a trip back on time. It reminded me of the 1980’s.

Taco Tico is a great value! The Taco Burger was delicious and the prices are amazing.
That said, I’m leaving 3 stars until the dine-in credit card machine is fixed. Right now, it only works in the drive-thru. I asked if they could charge my order there, but was told it’s against corporate policy. I even tried calling corporate, but the phone line is disconnected.
It’s ridiculous that they can’t figure out a solution for dine-in customers when the drive-thru machine works just fine.

For taste this is spectacular food, and the price is very reasonable. I like the shorter menu not 5,000 types of different things that really are the same thing. Simple good flavor best Mexican food drive-thru if ever had. And a staff is pretty cool always helpful cuz I’ve thrown them a few curves and they’ve caught the ball. Now I’m not sure what days they are closed so this could be because of that they’re closed on weird days and one day when I pulled up to the order microphone drive through they said they ran out of food. I mean you run out of rice and beans??? But if you’re waiting too long in line they’re closed. But if they’re open you’re in for a real treat soft tacos or superb great enchiladas and have a little dessert cinnamon triangle chip that is just out of this world but for me Pepsi products suck. Fast service funny well-natured employees can always clean and I’ve been there like eight times now in the last 2 weeks and the food is consistently wonderful. Try it you’ll like it great spices

I like this place. Is it authentic Mexican food? No, but the taco meat itself is unlike any place you’ve had and the beans are very fresh! The gentlemen that took my order was very friendly and personable. I dined in today and got a large drink and they have a small salsa bar as well. Recommended!

I worked at a Taco Tico in the late 70’s. After the one in my town closed t often craved the food. When we found the one in Claremore (55 miles away) we decided to try it but talked about how it’s never the same.
This Taco Tico was exactly the same taste. It was delicious. Both my husband and I had the enchilada dinner, (the beans were fantastic) a taco each and a taco burger each. Also we both got crispo’s to take home.
The atmosphere was great , the staff was friendly. We will definitely drive the 55 miles again.

There is only one Taco Tico. It is in Claremore, Oklahoma. They have taco burgers. The service was great. You walk in and order and the food is brought out to you. Go support this place and find something different on the menu. It is a change from other fast food places.

Restaurant was clean, granted we were one of the first customers. I didn’t care for the taco meat, but I think that is just a personal issue. The tacos were LOADED. Tons of meat, lettuce, and cheese. Bean and cheese burrito was simple and yummy. Crustos were great! I grew up eating Taco Tico in my hometown and there are very few who exist now. It was definitely a nostalgia moment.

I love this place. AtIeast once a month when I am in Claremore this is a must stop for me. Sometimes I even drive over 30 minutes out of the way just to get a combination burrito and generally I buy 2 so I can have one the next day for lunch.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Claremore. They have the best taco burgers, nachos and sancho’s are really good also. The enchilada dinners are great as well. Really good food at a good price. Great place to go for a quick bite to eat and not much of a wait. The staff is always friendly.

Edit: Added one star to food. I returned via drive-thru to try their chicken toco salad and it was good. Food was cooked/served quickly and they have great hot sauce; if you can stand spicy try their reaper sause too.

I had to order 2 soft tocos after eating the burger as it wasn’t satisfing alone. The seating, walls, and trashcan crowded near the door made it difficult to walk in with a stroller, not sure if a wheelchair would fit through that tight space.
