A salad that cost $8.59 fit in a 10 Oz Corning ware Corelle bowl. Lettuce was brown, limp, disgusting.
The wife and I were returning from a pediatric appointment for our daughter, and since she is 5 months pregnant, she sometimes has cravings, this time it was for Wendy’s. This location is on our way home so I didn’t even think to look at the reviews for this location, but oh, how I wish I had! Not only was the customer service incredibly subpar with unfriendly, but admittedly basic professional, staff, the quality of food was awful. There’s not usually much to expect from fast food chains, with the exception of Chick-fil-A, but this was just dad. Although they don’t look it in the pictures, our fries were loaded with grease and over cooked, giving them that weird, burned grease taste and smell that coats your mouth and lingers most of the day. However, the worst part was by far the fact that my chicken sandwich had wax paper in it! You know when you take a cheese slice and have to remove the wax paper attached to it? Yeah, somebody didn’t do that.
Went through the drive-through and took it home, so I didn’t notice it until later, but once I bit into that wax paper I tried calling the location we had gone to. To this day I still can’t get in contact with anyone, no one ever picks up the phone and it’s been a over a week at this point. Not only that, but I can’t get in touch with anyone online. I’ve tried contacting Wendys customer service on the website, even filling out a customer support form, but haven’t heard back from them either. So overall just very poor customer care going on here in my opinion, both on the store level and the online team, not to mention the clear lack of kitchen basics, (food is generally NOT supposed to have NON-food items in them). At this point I just want a refund for the two orders we made that day and be done with it.
All in all, avoid this location like the plague and don’t say no one warned you. Here’s your sign.
*I left the same review on Yelp a week ago, and still no response from the store, customer service, nothing.*
I waited in line to order for a long time, when I finally got to the intercom box they made me wait for another 5 minutes before taking my order. I went around 3:00 so it definitely wasn’t a lunch rush, they were literally just taking two cars in the line at a time.
When I finally received my order it tasted like the french fries had been fried again or had been left in the fryer for too long. Did not taste good at all. The chicken sandwich was probably the worst thing I’ve ever gotten in a drive-thru. It tasted like it had been left out all day and then fried 6 times, it was the worst!
My entire lunch is inedible, I am on my way to a meeting and did not have time to waste and now I have to go to my meeting hungry and late. So not happy with this experience!
