As a regular customer at this location, I feel compelled to speak out about a pattern of disturbing behavior I’ve consistently witnessed from the General Manager, Gale. Her conduct is not only unprofessional but outright abusive and discriminatory.

Gale frequently yells at employees—often in front of customers—and treats Hispanic workers, in particular, with blatant disrespect. I’ve personally seen her speak to employees like Colleen and others in a degrading, aggressive tone. As a Hispanic customer, I’ve also experienced her rudeness firsthand. When she takes my order, she’s short, dismissive, and even yells, creating a hostile environment for both customers and staff.

While Gale has no problem taking two-week vacations herself, she refuses to grant the same to employees, openly arguing with them about it in the store. I’ve spoken to several locals in Neosho who’ve had similar experiences or witnessed the same behavior—especially at the drive-thru, where she’s known for being equally rude and dismissive.

Even more alarming, I’ve seen Gale throw objects, including a spatula, at employees while yelling at them to clean. She has made threatening remarks like “You’ll see me” when challenged. This is unacceptable on every level.

Despite numerous complaints over the years, nothing seems to change. The only reason she is still in this position appears to be because of her “numbers” and the bonuses she brings in. But strong sales should never come at the cost of human dignity and respect.

As a journalist, I intend to pursue this further and bring attention to the toxic environment she fosters. I will also be submitting this information directly to Wendy’s corporate office. Immediate change is needed at this location—not just for the sake of the customers, but for the hardworking employees who deserve a safe and respectful workplace.

Nice people work here yea. The restaurant itself though adds a quarter slice of bacon on a baconater and it’s the size of a Jr bacon cheeseburger. I’m not one to make reviews and complain but the burgers are way way too small and doesn’t add enough bacon at all.

This is an amazing Wendy’s. The person who took my order was so helpful and went the extra mile. The food was also fresh tasting and had the Wendy’s taste. They were also quick, will definitely go back again!

I’ve had it up to my ears with evening bunch..
As soon as you order a frosty they set it up no matter how long the line is instead of waiting until you get to the window to serve you..
Hamburger was saturated with onion pickles and mayonnaise (nasty crap!)
The day bunch are wonderful and caring..
The night guy in the toboggan and glasses i don’t believe gives one rip..
No more evening orders for me I promise!!

Wendy’s was good, but when I asked for the Wendy’s chili seasoning to put on my burger (weird, right?), they gave me Cholula hot sauce. That stuff is just too strong-it covers up the taste of the burger.

Before I write this, I just want to say I work in fast food and I understand mix ups. But this is just really upsetting. I have food allergies and tend to eat what I’m used to because I know it’s not going to harm me. And I usually get a BIG BACON CLASSIC DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER. All I asked for was the burger nothing else. And they gave me a BIG BACON CHEDDER instead. I was understanding and went back in after I had unwrapped the burger to see something else. They gave me the new burger and a frosty for the mix up and I went back home… JUST TO SEE THAT THEY GAME ME THE SAME THING WITH BEEF INSTEAD. I have a lot of anxiety surrounding my allergies and it makes me so sad and upset when something like this happens. This hasn’t happened to me with this store before but this is frustrating. I just want to eat something.

I had a great experience at Wendy’s thanks to Colleen. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and made sure my order was just right. It’s refreshing to see someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. Colleen positive attitude and excellent service definitely made my visit better.
