Whatever change happened 3-4 months ago, it needs to stop. Please just take ketchup off my burgers, I literally can’t eat it.
Came by this Wendy’s to get a burger, nugget and fries. I live close enough for it to be quite convenient. I got my order from a chubby girl with colored hair, but did not look in the bag as I had confidence in her. It was not busy when I got there. When I got home I grabbed the bag and opened it. I saw the fries were missing and went back to get it. When I got there, I let the girl know. She mentioned 6 piece nuggets, which I didn’t understand so I re-iterated missing fries. I even offered to drive around in case they needed time to prepare it. I handed her my receipt and as im watching her, her co worker walks up to her while she was putting my fries in the bag. I noticed an exchange between them. She gave her a look, but I didn’t really care. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized it was because she threw my fries in the bag upside down.
If I had seen it while at the window I would have requested a refund immediately. I called and left a message. I would say have her interact less with the customers, but God only knows what she would do if she was cooking the food.
Edited 11-22-2022 – Increasing my rating up to 3 stars. They seem to have resolved some of their staffing issues and definitely have better management in place. I order from the app 99% of the time and it seems to be pretty seamless. They haven’t screwed up my order recently so that’s a good step in the right direction. Pricing has escalated quite a bit more than inflation rates so I visit much less frequently than I used to.
Edited 10-03-2021 – Lowering my rating down from 2 stars to 1 star. Again disappointed with this specific Wendy’s. Ordered a Frosty and again it was essentially cold liquid that you could drink out of a straw. Also ordered a 6 piece chicken nugget and AGAIN it came with 5 pieces. Either the employees can’t count to 6 which is entirely possible OR what’s more likely is the management is skimming one off the top to make some extra profit.
Edited 10-01-2021 – lowering my rating down to 2 stars. I’m continually disappointed with this particular Wendy’s. The new building is appealing, you’re led to believe that you might receive service and quality that matches the new construction, don’t let that fool you the service and quality has some major issues. Several times in the past few weeks I’ve ordered via the app and waited an excessively long time for my food. You might think that means hot and fresh, you’d be wrong. Frosty which are supposed to be you know frosty consistency are often so thin they should be served with a straw not a spoon. I mean really how do you mess up a frosty? Let’s focus on tonight’s specific order. Ordered a 6piece chicken nuggets and a small frosty. After an uncomfortably long wait in line I arrived at the window. I’m informed they are out of chocolate frosty and only vanilla and would that be OK. I’m not ok with this and the associate offers to get the manager for me. I waited for several minutes at the drive through window while other customers just continued to back up in the drive through. Manager never came but fortunately my chocolate frosty did magically appear (a little thin but not the worst I’ve received from this particular restaurant). When I arrived home I found the 6 piece chicken nugget was actually a 5 piece with one missing. 2 fresh nuggets and 3 cold old obviously been hanging out under a heat lamp dried out crusty nuggets. And finally the icing on the cake they forgot my BBQ sauce (probably the 10th time). I’m frustrated and would be glad to review with someone from the leadership team that manages this particular store.
Save yourself the hassle drive a few minutes down the street to the one in Geneva its significantly better quality, service, ohhh and it’s also priced much better than this site.

This Wendy’s location has definitely improved over the years. Since my original review a few years ago I have probably been here about a hundred or so times (yikes). The site is always clean and staffing seems adequate. I can’t remember the last time they have made anything wrong or given me any wrong food. I have also found using the app has improved order accuracy and speed. I still am confused about one thing though. If I am the only person in the drive through why do you want me to drive around the building so you can bring out my food. Wouldn’t it be easier to just have me stay at the window and IF someone else comes up behind me have me move? Seems counterintuitive to me.
This location is still hit or miss. I’ve been here probably a dozen times since it’s opened and half have been great experiences half… Not so great. This is like the third time my frosty isn’t full. If you expect to charge $2.50 for a frosty how about you top it off.
