The wait at the drive-thru was longer than usual. In today’s circumstances, that is to be expected. When we got to the window to get our food, we were told there would be a delay. Rather than having us pull ahead and service the customers behind us, they had us wait there until our order was ready. There were three people working in the kitchen. After we received our food, I asked for a receipt. Only to be told they were out of receipt paper. When we got home and opened the bag, the container for the large order of fries was only half full. On the plus side, the chicken sandwiches were good.

Terrible Experience – Incompetent Staff and Horrible Food
Im honestly in shock to find this place has four star reviews – this Wendy’s was so abysmal that I feel more than compelled to warn others before they too, experience the terrible food and service I experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear the staff had no idea what they were doing. It was like watching a group of people who had never worked in food service before – completely incompetent and unable to get even the most basic orders right.
The food I was served was appalling. It was clear that the meal had been sitting around for hours, and when I finally got my order, it was cold, stale, and just overall disgusting. Not only did they fail to make my order fresh, but they also didn’t seem to care at all about the quality of the food they were serving. I honestly can’t believe they’re still in business with this kind of service. I was given processed kids chicken sandwiches, cold and extremely old and processed, when I paid for regular chicken sandwiches. I feel totally Ripped-off! Fries had been sitting around all night, cold and soggy. NEVER AGAIN! I have given Wendy’s too many chances to improve their game and come to find it ONLY keeps getting worse, at most location in and around Grand Rapids, with this location winning first place for being the worst of all!
It’s honestly baffling how a place like this can stay open with such poor food and service. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Save your money or donate it to a cause worth supporting, because eating here will only disappoint you. Don’t waste your time or risk your health with food and service this terrible. I can’t even take it personally because I’m sure most customers experience the same awful treatment and low-quality food.
If I could give this location zero stars, I would.
