Great customer service friendly stuff, clean location. Clean bathrooms and employee were happy to be there.
We ordered our food and drinks the coffee was warm the first time then we ordered some fresh coffee which was hot as liked! Food quality good as always I ordered a chicken fried steak and family got the breakfast items and they have bottomless pancakes but you really can’t eat more than one. Or it may be the fact we ordered too much food as usual.
The server listens too I told her it was my little ones birthday and they waited til we were done and came with the ice cream singing he was surprised.
Again I’m huge on customer service and we left here full and with a smile. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the food when we ordered it.

Absolutely amazing service! Kyle was super professional and attentive from start to finish. Even though it was busy, our food came out fast and fresh!
The pancakes were on point as always — I had to try the Eggs Benedict version of the Poblano Omelette with a side of NY Cheesecake Pancakes, and it was heaven! The Foamed Cold Brew was the perfect pick-me-up.
My son loved his Sirloin Tips, and my girls enjoyed their Mac n’ Cheese with Hot Cocoa — perfect for the cozy fall weather. Don’t forget to request the Pecan Maple Syrup — total game changer!
Another memorable and scrumptious experience at our favorite IHOP. Thanks again, Kyle, for making it such a great visit!

Moved to the area 8 months ago and have been avoiding this place since it’s ihop and instead choosing all the local places. We should have came here long time. This location is very cleans, good service, food came out fast. I only have positive things to say unlike all the local places we attempted.

First time to IHOP Covington WA location. Will not be back. Our server, Walter, was horrible. Most of our food did not arrive. We never received requested items. Had to hunt someone down just to get our check as Walter had literally disappeared. When we made a comment at the front desk about Walter’s horrible service, we were informed that Walter had to be removed from the floor and was sent to the kitchen. So, why is that our problem? Why did management not step in themselves or with another server to help all of Walter’s tables? We were just abandoned. Honest citizens, like us, had to beg for our check and request adjustments for missing food items. Food was average; not memorably. Food was expensive but so are all restaurants now. It takes a lot for.a family to eat out these days with the cost so restaurants need to make a better effort to attract customers. This restaurant does not care about you, or your service, and apparently whether you come back.

A+ customer service at this location. During our 1st visit, we were convinced that maybe there was a boss on site, which was why everyone was on their best behavior. We went back the following month, and the customer service was still awesome. Our server checked in and made sure we were taken care of. Food is a hit or miss, but not the staff ❤️

Every once in a while you get a craving for pancakes ( or the people you are with do ). That’s how I ended up a a mediocre chain. Some IHOPS can hit the spot. Not this one. Service was totally inattentive and slow. Table felt rundown. Food was flat. The bright spot is the kids meals looked good.

Our group had 4 adults and 2 kids (ages 9 and 2). We should’ve trusted our instincts when we walked in — the restaurant had an unpleasant smell, like a sewer issue, and the health department rating was questionable. But we stayed because it was the celebrant’s choice.
We ordered two T-bone steaks (medium well), but they were so thin that only one side really needed cooking. Service was slow throughout, even though the restaurant wasnt full— drinks went unrefilled, and we had to ask for the check after we got our takeout boxes.
When the bill arrived, we noticed an 18% automatic gratuity added for parties of 6+. While we always tip generously, it’s frustrating to be forced to tip for subpar service. It felt like the server wasn’t motivated because the tip was guaranteed.
There is a sign about the gratuity, but it’s not visible when you walk in. Between the smell, the food quality, and the service, we definitely regret not choosing another place.

I haven’t been to an ihop in 2 years – but I’m really surprised on the cost post pandemic. Just wow. Also I requested a side of milk for my coffee and they charged me $3 for the small bit of milk I needed.
The food was just okay as well – I remember how fluffy the pancakes used to be – now the items look nothing like the pictures.

We are getting back to restaurant dining after 4 years of not dining out. The IHOP Covington experience was very good. We aren’t used to waiting for food after ordering, but it was worth the wait. We chose the tacos, omelets and Strawberry Chocolate Pancakes. Everything was delicious and the proportions were large enough for tasty leftovers.
