Today I got caught up at work, and one of my coworkers ran to Wendy’s to grab food for the shop. I sent her my order but totally forgot to say which sauce I wanted. While she was waiting in line for me to respond, Summer, the drive-thru employee, went out of her way to help by giving me one of every sauce so I wouldn’t miss out.
That small act of kindness honestly made my day. Not only did I get the sauce I originally wanted, but I even discovered a new favorite! 10/10 experience. This Wendy’s has always been reliable, and moments like this are exactly why I keep coming back.

Food was terrible. Ordered 10 pc nugget combo, grilled chicken wrap, and drinks. Grilled chicken in wrap was hard as if it had been sitting for an extended length of time. Chicken Nuggets were also cold. Food was not fresh or warm. Tried to eat it but couldn’t. Strawberry lemonade & frosty were the only items edible from our order.

I came here at 6:30 at night and the food was so fresh, so delish that my family actually went back through the drive thru and ordered more food. Seriously the softest, freshest buns I’ve ever had from any fast food place. Order was correct as well, both times.

When I was a kid – a teen, back in the day – I could never afford Wendy’s. I always went to McDonald’s, because McDonald’s was cheaper. Wendy’s had the reputation then for quality, and it certainly showed in their prices.
So, years later, as an adult, I’ve tried Wendy’s, and sometimes it’s good, and sometimes it’s complete garbage. In other words Wendy’s are no better than anyone else. Not these days their not.
When their food is bad – it’s really bad.
Today, it was another bad day. I’ve never before complained about them, but after many bad meals over the years at Wendy’s, it’s about time I did.
Today, it had actually been sometime since I last visited them, and a good Wendy’s hot, and fresh burger sounded like a great idea.
So, I ordered two ‘Dave’s Singles’ – with everything on them. That’s EVERYTHING. Also, a large fries.
I thought it would be a much longer wait than what it was, because these are supposed to be made hot, and fresh, but I noticed my wait time was only about a minute – at the most! The employees were friendly, but that wait time was just a little too fast…if you know what I mean, as in those items couldn’t possibly have been made hot, and fresh. Still, I was in a hurry – so I didn’t check my order at the window, but decided to trust the Wendy’s crew, and that I would be getting hot, and fresh.
So, I went home, and opened the bag to find that one of my ‘Dave’s Singles’ had nothing at all on it – other than the meat itself! Then the other had only a small piece of lettuce, one piece of onion, and no tomato at all. NEITHER BURGER WAS HOT. Both were lukewarm at best.
You know, I can recall an advertising campaign that Wendy’s had, in the not-so-distant-past, where they declared their fries to always be hot, and crispy. Well, today, their fries were once again lukewarm, and limp.
Listen, it’s obvious that this stuff wasn’t prepared hot, and fresh for me, but instead had been sitting under a heated lamp for a little while. Also, their buns…what happened to their buns? The buns always taste really odd anymore. Years ago their buns had a good, fresh taste to them. As well as the size – has anyone else noticed the size of the buns has decreased over the years?
Yet their prices are just as expensive as they ever were – more so.
Wendy’s just isn’t worth it anymore.
This Dayton-Xenia Rd, location in Beavercreek is one of the consistently worst Wendy’s locations as well.
Over the years, I’d witnessed some pretty filthy behavior from some of their staff that no longer work there, and as a result – I’d quit going there altogether, but after sometime away, I did ultimately drift back to that location, as it’s very close to my house, and convenient.
However, while their behavior has improved – the food hasn’t, and I won’t be back.

Ordered 4 Fuego meals on the app. When we got to the store for pick up, we were only given 2 meals (without the chips). Employee said they only got an order for 2 meals so we went in to speak to them at the counter, app in hand. Showed our receipt to the manager , who threw their receipt on the counter for my order which only reflected 2 “meals” where everything was individually rung up, meaning I wasn’t even given the combo meal discount. The woman I’m assuming was the manager because she was berating a young employee before “helping” us, was standoffish and said there was nothing they could do since she “just got here.” Another woman kept flashing a receipt in my face and refused to call whomever she said she had to call To get my money back. I wouldn’t have needed money back if they’d have just given me the 2 other meals but I guess it was more important to the store to honor their in store receipt than the app receipt. Employee said this happened to someone else too so it’s apparently a known issue. I had to buy 2 MORE combos in store because they refused to honor the in app receipt and bank posting showing we paid for 4 meals.
Don’t bother with this place. Freddy’s is cheaper, you get what you pay for there.

Should have read the reviews. Salad sucks and is half the size. Not a taco salad. No meat. No chips. Ordered a Takis meal, fries cold, no bag of Takis like it states. Husbands meal was cold. Went inside to try to get the salad sorted and they just looked at us and said that’s how the salad is now. Customer service is sad. Will not be eating Wendy’s again and will never come to this location if I do.

I specifically ordered a dish without pork, but they gave me one with pork. I even went to the cashier to show the girl who served me that she had given me pork, but she didn’t do anything about it. I won’t eat there again.

I am not a dig fan of Wendy’s my youngest Isaac loves it though. So my family go’s there for him. The kid’s like there cheeseburgers . I tried the jalapeno popper hamburger and I thought it was quite dry. It was spice but you couldn’t really taste most of the things in the hamburgers because of all the spice bite to it. I will not buy it again
I have try almost all the hamburgers and more on the menu over the years and am always displeased with my order. They also have a habit of forgetting to put you hole order in the take out bag.
The mango lemonade however is definitely worth a try. It is the only thing I like on the menu.
