It was an ok experience but the staff were not that friendly at all. They gave me spicy chicken instead of regular chicken. I had a hard time eating it because I really cannot do spicy. They really need to pay attention to what they are doing. The fries were cold by the time I got to where I was at 0.4 miles away.

Made me wait at the window then asked me to pull forward and wait for 4 minutes while my nuggets cook. Pulled forward waited 17 minutes reversed back to the window (there were no other customers) and they finally gave me my food, which half tasted like it was made an hour ago.

They messed up my order. Not once but I was there 3 times in less than 30 minutes. The manager never offered an apology or anything to compensate me for my time or receiving horrible service. The cops were called and I was asked never to return to this store

Finally, a Wendy’s that taste like childhood! Both times I have been here the food has been top-notch. Always fresh and hot. Their frosties are actually frozen!!! They took the time to hang Christmas lights, that showed me that their team members care about their work environment. Keep it up, thank you for giving me hope in Wendy’s again ❤️

This is a review for the 1880 E. Dorothy Ln. Kettering, Ohio.
On Friday 10/31/25 I pulled into the drive thru at 9:26pm. I spent the next 40 to 45 minutes trying to place an order and get my food.
It started of with pulling up to the menu to order and being told they would be with me in a moment, 7 or 8 minutes later someone came on to take my order. I ordered 2- $5 bags, 1-$7 bag and 1 triple cheese burger meal which amounts to 4 burgers, 3 small fries, 1medium fries, 3 nuggets and 4 drinks. I pulled to the window and paid, then sat at the window for 10 minutes waiting on my order to be given to me, was then told to pull forward even though there was no cars behind me. I pulled forward and sat there for another 20 minutes. One of the employees final came out with 2 bags of food and started to walk away.
I stated to the guy who brought my food out that I had ordered 4 meal and was missing all my drinks and come to find out the medium fries. The employee then tells me that he will go get that taken care of for me. About 2 minutes later a lady comes out the door who I assume is a manager/ shift manager and starts to recite my order to me from a receipt.
I tried to explain to the lady that I was aware of what I had ordered, but the problem was that I was missing a medium fries and all 4 drinks. The lady then began to reread the receipt to me and at this point I have had all I can take and informed the lady that if she was going to do nothing but argue with me and not get me the food and drinks I PAID for, she could just take what of my order I did get and refund my money. She then just walked away telling me that she was not going to do that and that I would have to come back another time.
Now I’m really not one to do google reviews and in fact this the 1st one I have ever done as I work in retails sales and know what it’s like to work with the public. I am fully aware of what customer service is, and the Wendy’s at 1880 E. Dorothy Lane Kettering Ohio is the furthest thing from it. In all actuality the service at Wendy’s 1880 E. Dorothy makes crappy customer service look good.
This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I’m not just talking fast food, the worst customer service period.
This Wendy’s was so bad, I will not just never got to this location, I will starve to death before I will eat at any Wendy’s ever again.
The entire night crew working at Wendy’s 1880 E. Dorothy Ln. Kettering, Ohio should be fired immediately, the building bulldozed and a better restaurant chain replace it.

Normally this location is pretty good. Today it was horrible guy at the counter was trying. There was an employee in the bathroom for 15 mins. Apparently he’s the only person in the store that can make a patty. After waiting 20 mins on my food I finally got it and it was wrong. There was another lady here I heard her say she wanted bacon on her sandwich and they messed hers up as well. The manager was in the back and I heard her say “ok smartass we will take forever”. Sadly for them I was going to order more food to take home for my family of 6. Not now. I will take my money somewhere else. There is a guy that normally runs shifts and he does great. Very not impressed with this visit

I would leave a zero star if I could.

After a fun trunk and treat, our kiddos were starving. We found the nearest restaurant and now regret it. My friend and I have six kids under the age of 5 and two of them are special needs. We ordered and waited for our food as normally. Our kids were loving the Halloween decorations and one of the employees came out and showed them how they turned on. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, our kids were restless and were running around playing tag and touching their decorations. There were not any do not touch signs posted and after the employee showed the kids how to turn them on they thought they were cool. People who ordered after us were receiving their food before us. We were trying to manage our kids and keep them occupied but you know how difficult that can be with young kids. One of the employees came out and said that we had to leave because we were “breaking their decorations “. They refused to give us a receipt, refused to give us a refund, and refused to give us our food. They told us that if we didn’t leave they would call the cops. We were just two mamas trying to feed our children but instead were being disrespected, accused of destroying property, and were being treated unfairly. I chose to call the police. They came and said nothing looked broken, that we legally had to leave, and that if we wanted our money back we would have to go to small claims court. This isn’t even about the amount of money I spent. It’s the principle that I paid for a meal and was denied it and then trespassed from their location. After looking through their reviews it seems like this is common and I do not know how they are still in business. I felt bullied, belittled, and that I was in the wrong. I have contacted the corporation to discuss my concerns. I take responsibility that I did not doing my research before bringing my children to this establishment.

This Wendy’s is so bad, I can’t blame anyone but the manager. Drive thru takes forever, messing up orders, and there was one day they went cash only.

Somehow this is the last Wendy’s to be renovated. Parking lot and building look like they haven’t been updated in 15 years.

I work at the Jiffy Lube down the street and I frequent this location for lunch and every single time I’ve been the staff have all been exceptional. Food is always correct, the employees are super nice and the managers are very friendly. I’m getting a new job and I pray that I work close to a fast food place as amazing as this one

Got my food, being the second person in line to order. Make the long story short I noticed the staff were exactly taking a smoke break in the back rather than put customers first. Now I realize and understand why I dnt come after business hours for food because of the young generation wants to work when they feel like it! Than they wonder WHY no one wants to hire them! Unprofessional & BAD business!
