This morning around 7:50 AM, I went through the drive-thru at Wendy’s and ordered a drink. After taking a few sips, it tasted off, so I came inside to dump it out and get a replacement.
I poured out a full cup with ice at the drink station. Unfortunately, the employee working nearby did not see this and appeared to think I was trying to refill an empty cup. When the ice machine wasn’t working properly, I decided to just refill the drink and move on.
At that point, an employee began yelling at me from across the restaurant. I am hard of hearing and was not wearing my hearing aids, so it took me a moment to understand what she was saying. When I finally did, it seemed she was questioning why I was refilling my drink. I calmly explained that I had just come through the drive-thru and the drink did not taste right, so I returned to replace it.
The situation could have been avoided with better attention and communication. Being shouted at over a misunderstanding was uncomfortable and unnecessary, especially when I was simply trying to fix a problem with an order I had already paid for.
I expect better customer service and more patience, especially in the morning when mistakes can happen.

Horrible experience they were so rude and wouldn’t tell me what was wrong, I even asked them did I do something to make you mad! The treated me so bad!, I was so polite to trying to cheer them up! They basically threw my food bag to me and slammed the window! The frys were cold and I was afraid to ask for fresh ones but I did and they acted like I was wrong? Then the dropped the back in the grease fryer and instantly threw the bag back to me! I asked could I please get some new fresh ones?? That really upsets them now! They told me pull up wait. So now they just brang out the same frys again!! This is so wrong. They dont answer the phone either! Ever again Wendy’s.
So sad people don’t care.

Popped in here for a quick lunch today and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hamburger was fresh and very tasty and the French fries were also fresh and crispy. Overall a great experience. I wish it was always like this at fast food establishments.

this is the second time i’ve come to this location and the girl working front drive through is so rude. she is young but that’s no excuse . she basically throws the food at you . i hadn’t even got my drink or straw . the rest of that crew is awesome!

The service slow in the drive thru. They have long waiting times between taking orders like they are short staffed or are having issues. This items to be the occasion every time I come here. I’ve already seen 2 cars pull off cause they didn’t want to wait in line.

I decided to stop by this evening because I didn’t have time to cook.
The gentleman who took my order had ZERO enthusiasm! After placing my order, I made it to the window to make my payment, and the young lady NEVER greeted me. I handed her my card, she completed the transaction, handed the card and receipt to me, and she NEVER said a word!
I made it to the window to collect my order, and the gentleman who handed me the food, NEVER said a word! As I waited on my drink, the female who handed it to me, NEVER said a word!
Aside the horrendous interaction, or the lack there off, the food was great, and this is the only reason I have 3 .
Gautier’s Wendy’s MUST do better! The town is small enough, and there isn’t much to choose from. Let your place as a choice be well worth it; there’s a few other fast food restaurants to choose from, but I chose you. Appreciate my choice.

This is the dirtiest fast food establishment I’ve been to. The trash cans were overflowing, there were a few flies flying around, and the floors were sticky and dirty. There wasn’t a single table that was clean. We ordered 2 kid’s meals and they said they were out of toys.

Pretty disgusting and mismanaged store I just watched a young man who wasn’t even clocked in cough into his hand not wash them and then drop fries. Yall got to do better. It’s not that hard to have some form of standards.

I just went through the drive-through line and the hamburger was not even warm. The french fries were barely warm. The only thing good at the whole mess was a Coke. It was at least cold. I’ll never eat that one again.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. WORST PLACE TO EAT IN GAUTIER. Everytime I go here my order gets messed up by the kids in the back. The only one who ever does their job is the lady that is in the drive thru on oxygen. If she isn’t there now I drive off or at least check my food twice before I drive away if I choose to get food from them at that time.
