Unfortunately, my experience at this place was extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, the service was poor. The employee who took our order, Wilfredo C., told us that almost nothing on the menu was available, claiming they were close to closing time and did not want to continue serving customers. This attitude was unprofessional and made it clear they simply did not want to work.
The lack of hygiene was alarming. The staff handled food without gloves, talked over the food while preparing it, engaged in horseplay, and at one point were seen throwing fries into the trash because they were burned, clearly due to a lack of attention to their job.
As for the food, the quality was terrible. The chicken tenders looked like they had been fried more than 7 hours earlier—dry, hard, and with a stale, unpleasant taste. The fries had a very poor appearance and an even worse flavor. The order was so bad that we had to throw it away entirely.
It is unacceptable to pay for service and food under these conditions. I do not recommend this place at all, especially if you value hygiene, food quality, and basic professionalism.

Went in and saw a large line, so I stopped at an ordering kiosk instead. The kiosk was so slow, nearly the entire line went through before I could pay (I only ordered two things). After I paid, the payment went through, and then the kiosk had an error and didn’t print a receipt. I went to the main line and waited for the last two people to order. Then when I was next in line, the cashier started talking to a different worker, and then ignored the rest of us in line. I stood first in line for over 10 minutes. I wasn’t greeted with a “welcome to Wendy’s”, or “good morning” it was “I can’t sell you anything but a number 1 or French toast sticks”. I told her what happened with the kiosk, and she asked the manager (I assume). She told me that the order didn’t go through and that they can’t do anything about it. So I left $14 poorer, 20 minutes slower on my trip home, and frustrated. I saw a poor review for this place when looking up fast food breakfast areas, but I figured it could’ve just been a one-off or previously upset customer. Nope. I had the EXACT same experience. Do not attempt to eat here!

I recently stopped at the Wendy’s located at the Canoe Creek Turnpike Service Plaza, and I have to say this visit was disappointing compared to my previous experiences. I’ve eaten here before, and while it’s never been amazing, it was at least reliable for a quick bite on the road. Unfortunately, this time was different.
First, the fries were noticeably below what I would consider a normal portion — barely filling the container. On top of that, they were lukewarm and lacked their usual crispness. The burger was even more frustrating. It was soggy to the point that it started falling apart in my hands after just a few bites, which made it messy and difficult to enjoy. The bread was flattened so thin. As if that wasn’t enough, the soda from the self-serve fountain tasted completely off. I couldn’t put my finger on what was wrong with it, but something about the flavor just wasn’t right — almost like odd chemical taste to it or the syrup was off balance. Service was ok, they did what they could. It was a qiuet evening.
I know fast food places can have their bad days, and I’m hoping that’s all this was. On previous visits, this location was far better, so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt for now. Still, it was a frustrating experience, especially when you’re counting on a quick, satisfying meal during a road trip.

Stopped at 9:30 PM and almost nothing on the menu was available. Staff handled food without gloves. The only items offered—chicken tenders and fries—were inedible due to bad taste and being clearly over-refried. Very disappointing experience. Everything was terrible. I absolutely do not recommend this place; they should close it down.

Even though my order said it was done on the board I still had to wait 5 minutes to get it. They wouldn’t give it to me until they were finished filling the other orders that said they were done before mine (obviously they weren’t done). I was charged $1.39 for bacon on my burger but didn’t get it. My burger was cold and it felt and tasted like it had been cooked a while ago and then barely warmed in the microwave and the bun was very stale.

What a disgrace. 8 workers behind the counter. Not one at the register. Not sure what they were doing. Couldn’t seem to get orders together. Over 10 orders waiting on the screen. All we ordered was a large fry and this is what we got. Do better Wendy’s.

Great, clean rest area on Florida Turnpike. I only bought one item, which, seeing the ads, I’ve been craving. A Frosty with brownie batter syrup. Nope. Sorry. It looks awesome. It did not taste awesome. Or good. Or mediocre. I disliked it. My suggestion: just get a normal frosty.
I certainly don’t blame this location. They seem fine.
