I had never been to cookout before and was swinging by with an order for a friend.
The menu was very overwhelming and I kept asking questions….the young man behind the microphone kindly took the time to explain everything to me. He was patient, detailed and understanding.
I wish I could remember his name, because his customer service was impeccable.
The food was typical fast food fare…very greasy but tasty and affordable. Definitely a step above bigger chains in quality and price. I will definitely be back for their milkshakes!

I will give it a three. My burger and fries were good but both of our cokes were flat. If it hadn’t been for that I would have gave more stars. Also the shakes have a good flavor but they are too thick. I had mine for almost 2 hours before I could get a sip because it was so thick.

Food was delicious! Got a bacon wrap and the bacon was so crispy and also got a honey mustard chicken wrap and the chicken was crunchy enough and I dipped it in honey mustard and also I got a strawberry cheesecake shake with oreo added and my friend got a caramel fudge shake. The milkshakes are probably my favorite thing they have. Superb!!!

Just a drive-thru or walk up, but I ordered a small burger with everything and it was GREAT! The bun was fresh and the toppings were crispy. My two sides were the onion rings and cole slaw. The rings were good but the slaw was my favorite type of slaw… light on the dressing but crunchy and flavorful. The burger came with two sides and the price was right! It was my first time through so I didn’t know what to expect, but I’ll definitely be back ❤️

The food is good, but the portions are tiny for the fries. I get a double fry usual and what I get in the box is maybe a single, if you’re stretching it, it’s so tiny. The other issue I have is that their styrofoam boxes they use aren’t capable of handling the heat of the food put in them, so you end up with melty box on your food and it’s just not a good situation. It’s not as bad with the fries (though definitely does still happen), but if you get the cheese curds, there are usually holes in the side of the box where curd is rolled off the small liner and is just poking out of melted box

They stayed open during the GREAT FREEZE OF 2026 and I am very grateful! Thank you for helping the community by toughing it out and coming to work. I hope the company gives the staff an extra small reward for those shifts!

I did not want it to come to this, the one-star review, but the experience I had tonight was far too egregious for me to ignore. Over the past few years, my visits to Cookout have become fewer and further between, as I have continually had a problem with my food being wildly incorrect.
Tonight, I was hungry after work and just wanted a quick and easy dinner. I ordered a Jr. tray- burger with cheese and A1, two honey mustard chicken wraps with no lettuce and extra honey mustard, and a shake (the only thing correct in the entire order). Both wraps had lettuce, though I managed to salvage them after a tedious and sticky process of removing the shreds by hand. The worse offender, however, was the burger, which seemed normal at first, only for me to find that half of the thing was coated and soaking in honey mustard, as if some had spilled onto it during the food preparation and whoever had been making it decided that it wasn’t their problem or wasn’t worth it to remake, so they wrapped it up and sent it on it’s way. I only ate the wraps because I got home so late that I had no energy to make myself food, which was the thing I was trying to avoid by getting fast food. The burger was completely inedible, as the combination of A1 and honey mustard was too disgusting for me to bring myself to eat. The part that upsets me the most is the fact that I checked with two separate employees before receiving my food that my modifications were correct, and I was assured twice that they’d gotten it down right. Clearly, they hadn’t, or whoever was cooking just didn’t care. Either way, this is not a surprising or unusual occurrence for me at this location, though it is incredibly disappointing.
I will likely not be spending another penny here, as I’d much rather pay a little more to go to a place I know is going to serve me what I asked and paid for. I apologize for how rude this wall of text comes across as, but after numerous times of these things happening, I am just too frustrated to not say anything.

Cookout used to be a great value: good burgers that were ultra cheap. Unfortunately they aren’t that anymore. I have noticed that they have had the largest price increases and the portions have gotten a lot smaller. I understand food prices have gone up, but Cookout has definitely gone overboard with inflation compared to all other hamburger chains.

This location has consistently gone down. Hill. Today I got cold unsalted fries with my meal. It has become an ongoing issue with this location. And as a manager and restaurant employee for years I know that fries have a 4 to 5 min widow life. I have complained to the management several times about this in the past and have even requested fresh fries with my order. Have also heard employees groan when I ask for fresh fries. It’s really not that hard. 4 min in the fryer and they are done. Serving cold food you wouldn’t personally eat is unacceptable. I am attaching a pic of my tired cold fries that I salted myself at home

To be honest i don’t usually do this. But the quality is horrible here. I cant think of once that my order was right in the past year. I think I’m done with them. One order i got a burger and a spicy chicken sandwich. One “burger” only had toppings and the other “burger had both patties. My order is constantly missing 1-2 items and the customer service is rude minus maybe two nice people I have met. If you want cookout find a different location.
