I needed a quick carb fix and opted for a plain baked potato (with salt and pepper on the side). Easy, cheap, and did just the trick. I’m mostly plant-based and avoid processed foods, so if you’re in a pinch, Wendy’s to the rescue! Quick service + the staff was very friendly too.

My first time going to Wendy’s here, we went here a long time ago and it OK. They chicken nuggets were fine, but the fries were not good. It just wasn’t for me, and I get that it is an airport and that they have to rush to get the food done because people need to get somewhere. But we need to fix this. So, I will be nice and not give 1 star. Also, we went here because it took 4 more than 5 hours to get back home so we needed something to eat. We were going to go to chick fil a, but it was close, so we went here and ate instead.

Customer service is terrible.
They got order wrong. After opening and tasting my sandwich, I returned it back in a little lower 5 minutes, when I returned, the lady that had my order also was at the counter. Instead of the manager making new ones she tried to switch bags and give us each others so it would be correct. I had no idea what that lady did to my food, so I wanted it done fresh. The manager caught an attitude with me about that. I simply ask for a refund and went to Chick-fil-A next door. It was a much better experience, no attitude, and tasted a lot better. Go to Chick-fil-A, do not go to Wendy’s in the airport.

I just had the best fast food customer service experience of my entire life at this Wendy’s. My order came to $6.35 and as I’m not American and was at the end of my trip, I didn’t have much American cash left, only $6. Sabrina very kindly offered to cover the remaining $0.65 and when I sat down to eat, I saw that Terry, the manager, gave me an extra chicken tender. They made my day 🙂

This is a good spot to grab a bite before you go through security. The dining area has a nice view of the airport operations and there is also an outdoor patio when the weather is nice. Food was served fast, and order was correct. Its typical Wendy’s food, so you get what you are expecting. I offer that the pumpkin spice Frosty is great choice in October 2023.

Great experience! Airport fast food is always a crap shoot. Wendy’s, like most chains, offer a consistent product with some better and some worse (ATL Concourse B for example). The Tampa Airport Wendy’s is one of the best, providing exactly what you should get when you order: hot, freshly prepared burgers without the “airport” pricing.
