Order was accurate and fast, and tasted good on the way down. Tasted less good on the way back up, 8 hours later, when I was violently ill from food poisoning.
Obvious questions are, maybe it was something else? Nope, I’d only had breakfast the rest of the day, a shared meal where no one else got sick. Any snacks? Nope. Maybe it was a virus? Nope, happened very suddenly, as is typical of food poisoning. It was Wendy.

This place was a hazardous mess, and furthermore, their claimed “large” chili is at least 25% smaller than it was a few years ago. The floor was soaked throughout the dining area (see pic), and when I queried the help about getting a 14oz benchmark cup to check their purported chili size, they refused to offer one up. They came across as a bunch of drones insofar as explaining or justifying how this is a $3.69 dollup of chili. I’d like to blame Democrats for all this but we all know it’s just profiteering. BTW the chili, what little you can get, was very good, as always.

The overall quality and service definitely need improvement. While the effort is appreciated, there are several areas that fall short of expectations. The attention to detail, consistency, and professionalism could be much better. Customers expect not only a good product or service, but also respect, communication, and reliability. With some dedication and willingness to listen to feedback, things could improve significantly. There’s real potential here, but without serious effort to raise the standards, it will continue to leave many people disappointed.

This Wendy’s always has THE LONGEST WAIT. I usually have to wait at least 5 minutes after getting to the speaker BEFORE someone is ready to take my order. After your order is taken, it usually goes pretty smooth and the food is fine. The last two times I’ve waited to order, several people behind me in line will pull off to go elsewhere. If you’re in a hurry, don’t go here.

The dining room was open, which was nice because most of the Wendy’s I’ve been to have limited dining room hours. I ordered a ten piece nugget with a sour cream and chive baked potato. The service was really nice, and the workers were friendly.

This seems to be an ongoing issue here at certain times of the day. Food seemed stale, like it had been sitting for a while and yet somehow the burgers that we got were almost raw. I like a less done burger every once in a while but this is rediculous. I had to throw away the burger which was the only thing I actually got. I didn’t do a combo. ♂️
