This restaurant just had a complete remodel inside and out, including the parking lot. They are still breaking in the new equipment and re-Staffing including a wonderful new General Manager that actually cares about his staff, the customers and hot, fast, quality food! This place will definitely be a five star restaurant from now on!

The good: The folks taking the order and handing out the food were very respectful.
The bad: Cook wasn’t having a good day. Ordered a big bacon classic, had 2 massive tomatoes that could’ve easily been 4 nicely sliced tomatoes and 6 slices of cheese, 3 on top, 3 on bottom. Also the burger itself was cold as can be. They also forgot the fries for this meal. We also got a biggie bag with a JBC, the meat on that burger was cold as ice and the amount of mayo on it was atrocious. While missing a medium fry with this order they also forgot the BBQ sauce for the nuggets.
This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue with this location, been coming here for over 10 years. I’ll chalk it up to the cook having a bad day and the workers having to work on Christmas, I get it, but you can do better.

Don’t come here late at night expecting them to be open. They have signs on their door saying “NOW OPEN 24 HOURS” and their hours on Google says they’re open. 50/50 chance they’re closed. Lights off, nobody here.

Don’t order on the app they will straight up just take your money & not give you what you ordered because they don’t have it or it will take too long to make. Especially at night. Sucks cause this is one of the only places open late, but they literally just stole 6$ from us last night & told us we have to call the 1-800 # to get a refund but it was 11PM so they wouldn’t take our call…. Even if we do get a refund, making us go through all these hoops WHEN THE EMPLOYEE IS THE ONE WHO MADE THE MISTAKE BY PRINTING OUT THE RECIEPT is just asinine.

This Wendy’s had us a little hesitant to dine here. The dining area really needed some attention, and so did the men’s bathroom. Both fountain machines had nothing but diet beverages and hi-c. I had a single Dave cheese burger, no lettuce with fries. The burger was good, the fries were good, but they were too salty. The service was great.

Ordered 1 baconator with no mayo add lettuce tomato and onion along with others with no alterations which were correct but the one with no mayo had mayo which is typical because our family is cursed when it comes to any fast food restaurant when we want to remove a condiment so I went back around and they remade it no issue and didn’t put lettuce, tomato or onion on it but it had no mayo which I guess is a win. I worked fast food for a long time I get the workforce struggle but smh.

Whoever was working the drive through tonight 9/26/2025 @ 7:30PM was terrible. Ordered 10 piece spicy nuggets 6 of them old/burned 2 of them raw, was mush as soon as I took a bite. Asked for BBQ sauce, got none. On my #6 asked to add bacon and cheese, got home, only mayo. Chicken filet was also very hard and chewy like it had been sitting out for a while. I love Wendys but, this location seems to be getting terrible since the remodel.

My family of 3 stood in line at the register and watched EVERY EMPLOYER work the drive thru . We werent given a ” Hello” or a ” we’ll be right with you ” . Ive had aweful service before…but to be completely ignored was insane. Also.. there were no costomers in the dining room at 1:20 in the afternoon. Shoulda taken that as a sign .

Worst place to try and get food! I hope the owner/operator sees this! I placed a mobile order to pick up, simple enough right? NO! After spending 30 minutes in drive thru I was told to come in to place an order and drive thru was now closed! What? I went inside to tell them about my mobile order and after standing at the register for almost 15 minutes and not be recognized not once I ended up leaving! This place is an absolute joke! My advice is to fire everyone and hire some actual people that know how to run a place, or second option I would suggest is just bulldoze the place down so another fast food place can come in that knows what they are doing! I have lived in Troutman for 30 years and I will Never go back to this place again! I will travel to a different city to go to Wendy’s before I go back here!
