The service was great. the food was great. but i don’t think u should charge people large combos without asking. i paid $27 for 2 combos because both were rung in as Large without my approval. which was unnecessary but i didn’t wanna complain at the window. I feel almost $30 for 2 combos is quite ridiculous.

So, I am local and after a few unpleasant experiences at this location in the past, I stopped going. I decided to give them a shot after they re-opened (drive thru only) to see if they’ve made any improvements since closing.
I was the only person in the drive-thru and ordered only a Jr. bacon cheese burger. When I pulled up to the window, the lady at the drive-thru told me the total and I handed her my card. She practically threw my order at me, and then I said “Thank you,” and she slammed the window in my face without a word. I was pretty polite and didn’t ask for any modifications or anything, just placed my simple order and waited patiently. My burger was cold. The American cheese was completely solid and wouldn’t melt because the burger and bacon were cold.
If you’re a local and curious if the service and quality have improved since they reopened, don’t bother. I’ll just stick to the University Parkway one when I’m in Winston-Salem. I get that they’re by a busy interstate, so maybe they rely on that business and not repeat customers. Many locals have refused to go to this location for years because they can’t get anything right. I was hoping things had changed, but sadly, they have not.

Wendys is in a down hill trajectory. Service was marginal. Food was barely ok. Fries not cooked all the way. Sandwiches not made as ordered. We will rethink going to Wendy’s in the future.

No Excuse! Are people really getting paid to work here?!!!! Employees standing around eating and ignoring customers. Ordered a Double burger w/bacon and a double cheese with bacon. No bacon and OMG! The end of the tomato and black lettuce on one and a tiny piece of tomato & onion along with black lettuce on the other. A half order of COLD chewy fries! NO INTEGRITY whatsoever. Bye Wendy’s

Bought 2 double stack biggie bags. My wife and I both took a bite and the meat tasted spoiled on both. Unfortunately we were traveling and we’re on the expressway already. We had to throw them away at the next stop because they smelled rotten.Never had that happen. The meat looked undercooked. Nuggets, frosties and fries were ok for the kids thank goodness.

Just left there. The burger meat might have been a reheat from yesterday. Very dried out. I ordered a Dave’s single no mayo. It had so much mayo on it that it was oozing out the sides! Had issues with their food last time I went and wanted to give them another chance. That’s a big NO!

We pulled forward into the sun we parked in the shade under the trees across from the window . We sat there.probably fifteen minutes while other cars pulled threw and left about 15 minutes and finally got our food after every body else had left . With no explanation the guy just said sorry about the wait and also gave us cold fries they could have at least been fresh since we had to wait Do not recommend this place of you are in a hurry !!!

This Wendy’s is ridiculous. I mobile ordered, got to the drive thru and it took almost 5 minutes to finally take my order. When I told them I had a mobile order they asked me to come in. I parked and went inside and waited about 10-15 minutes before someone actually asked if I had the mobile order. I said yes and apparently the order hadn’t even been started. People were ordering food and getting it before me, and I’m talking full family’s of 4-6. They made my chocolate frosty-ccinos, 3 of them and instead I got three espresso coffees. I could not taste any frosty in mine, just straight coffee. It took almost 6 creamers to make my sisters frosty-ccino slightly bearable to drink. The guy who made the frostys almost seemed high off his rocker or was to tired to function. It took him almost two minutes to put the frosty-ccinos in the drink tray which is ridiculous. It took a total of 32 minutes to get my mobile order ready. The frosty-ccinos also sat for those 32 minutes and the food was just thrown together and was also cold. All the fries were also dumped straight in the bag. Waste of time and money.
