First visit in a while to get myself a fry and a frosty. It was so worth it. Service was great, and the fries were some of the best I’ve had from Wendy’s. The store had some dirty tables, but there were people going around and cleaning them. Overall, a great visit and exceeded my expectations.

Breakfast was good and everything was crispy and fresh for fast food. The drink machine puked a bunch of the soda syrup on my cup and consequently on my hand that I didnt realize until I took the photo that didn’t come off so I immediately poured it out and got some tea. That was a PSA.. at any rate good Breakfast at wendys in Collinsville.

The food here has gone down so bad. They no longer serve hot food. It’s usually warm, sometimes warmer than warm, but never reasonably hot even when you request your food fresh. I tried the new mushroom burger, and it was okay, but the temperature on it was barely warm. The fries were kinda okay as far as the temperature goes, but I surely didn’t order a side of hair. Yes! There was a long, long strand of hair in my fries. Not on top, but innnnn my fries. I was so disgusted. This makes the 2nd time this year to find hair in my food from here. This particular location made me grow a love for Wendy’s because they used to serve quality food that was deliciously fresh, but now they certainly don’t, and you may even get attitude from them like you’re bothering them with your patronage. I wouldn’t recommend this store. No one wants to have to call and complain about their food or have it re-made. Just do it right the first time. Gas is one thing, but food is way too expensive to be served it any kind of way. Try another location OR a burger joint somewhere else. They need to put their hair away and wear nets when serving food. This is why I don’t like eating out anymore.

Wendy’s has good fast food with a lot of dollar menu items. The burgers taste great, fries are fresh, and frostys are always delicious. They are the only fast food restaurant open latest in collinsville so there’s usually a wait if you go after midnight but it moves at a steady pace so not a big deal. The staff is pretty friendly too. Always a good place to grab a quick bite.

The best way to describe my experience was that it was O.K. Nothing great but nothing bad. Tried the nuggies. Ghost pepper and honey BBQ.

The food here is generally decent, but it’s rarely hot—usually just warm, as if it’s been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Service tends to be slow, but the staff is usually friendly.

So when you order a large frosty, my belief is the cup should be full. Especially if they tell you that they are out of the first flavor you want. Also, whatever happened to customer service? I asked the drive through cashier to simply fill the cups and she decided that she needed to argue with me that the cup was the wrong size and that she “had to equal them out” to be the size of the cup they are supposed to be in. I’ve eaten at Wendy’s for a long time. I actually used to work for one way back when. As you can see from the photo, the cups are not even or filled. I will not be back. Mostly due to the cashier desiring an argument over just making the customer happy.
Edited: Once I got home, I checked out my food. This is apparently a large fry. I have not eaten any of my food as of this point in time. I advise you to not eat at this establishment. Seems their employees lack work ethic or the owner/management team lacks ethics on getting what the customer pays for.

it’s a Wendy’s. If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all, but that’s important when you’re a big chain like this. Consistency is key. So, if you like Wendy’s food you won’t be disappointed.
