I recently placed an order that included two meals and unsweetened iced tea (because my grandmother is diabetic) Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Not only did we not receive our complete orders, but we also weren’t given a receipt. To make matters worse, both drinks provided were Dr Peppers instead of the unsweetened iced tea. If my grandmother had consumed that, it could have been dangerous. This was a serious oversight and completely unacceptable. I had called to speak to someone about this issue, but no one answered the phone. Due to this experience, I will not be returning. I hope management addresses this situation promptly to prevent something like this from happening again.

We stopped in for lunch today and had a wonderful experience. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Adam who waited on us at the register. He was also super helpful and brought our food to the table. He even came back around and asked if we needed anything additional. These days in fast food you don’t always see this type of service. Thank you for making our day Adam happy holidays!

Food was hot and tasty, on par with Wendy’s. Did try the new tenders and they were just ok, nowhere near as good as CFA. Will not order them again. The Dave’s double was great!

This was the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. Our family came through the drive through and Justin was on the speaker.
After ordering two meals and getting “Is that it?” My husband asked for my burger sub the bun for lettuce.. Justin responded “We don’t do that, we only have shredded lettuce.” My Husband said “can I please get it in a container with shredded lettuce then.” Justin then started to SCREAM at my husband about how they don’t do that! And then argue about the rest of the order and have an attitude, recieving a “K” instead of our total. We have never had an experience this awful. Highly recommend avoiding at all costs and going out of your way to a different location.

I’m still shaking typing this just went thru drive thru nov 9 710 pm and your employee screamed at me in drive thru because I was looking down at my phone…he began to scold me and yell at me . I’m an old guy w heart issues and he shot my blood pressure thru roof . I asked him his name and he shut and locked the window .while whole time this other smaller guy stood there looking dumbfounded . So I guess what he was mad cause he had to say here? I mean come on where’s the hospitality? When I was a mgr for Wendy’s way back when this would not be tolerated.do I need to tell all the elderly and disabled as I’m disabled as well when he saw me on my phone should have seen the handicap placard…I’m scared to come back to this location . But my son said the food was good so thank the grill guy . Have a nice day.

I stopped by this Wendy’s to grab some food, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a really disappointing experience. In the drive-thru, I was told to pull forward and that my order would be brought out in about seven minutes. It ended up taking nearly twice that long, and it felt like I’d been completely forgotten, especially since other cars were getting their food before me.

I eventually had to park and go inside to get my order, only to find that a few items were missing. To make things worse, after my sister started eating her food, she began feeling sick within about 10 minutes. She mentioned that her food had no taste and that her Frosty didn’t taste right, and not long after, she actually threw up.

This was really disappointing on so many levels – slow and disorganized service, missing items, and food that clearly wasn’t right. I definitely won’t be coming back to this location, and I’d caution others to think twice before visiting.

Nobody was at the drive-thru and waited five minutes after they finally told us to hold on. Then after a few more minutes of waiting, I asked if it was faster for us to come inside and they said yes. Went inside and there was one customer (total) and two people behind the counter. One older gentleman doing all the work while a younger guy sat there looking at his phone trying to hide, while complaining loudly that he was going to leave. The alarm from the fry oil was blaring and the smoke was filling the air. When the older gentleman finally was able to get to us, his hands were shaking. I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing from this young person, totally leaving his much older coworker on his own to make everything while he sat there hiding, looking at his phone. The food was burnt and fries were extremely overcooked… obviously. We will never go back to this location at night and suggest others consider the same.

Wow…let’s talk about it.
Wish I could say this was gonna be positive, however, after this evening, I will never be going back.

To start, I typically don’t spend my money here, (not $45 worth anyways) but my kids were really craving it, and seeing as it’s so close to home, I thought I’d give it a shot.

As someone who has worked in the service industry for nearly 20 years, I understand that we all have our off days. I pride myself on being friendly and understanding, especially towards my fellow service industry peeps. So, when I pulled up to Wendy’s and noticed the employee taking our order seemed a bit grumpy, I honestly thought, “Hey, everyone has bad days; I get it.”

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when I got to the payment window. I was trying to be considerate and get my card out quickly, but the employee huffed in frustration because I wasn’t fast enough. I again, brushed it off as not being a big deal and continued on, trying to keep things light.

He then opened the window and handed me a stack (yes, a stack) of drink carriers for the 3 drinks I ordered…I tried to gently mention that I didn’t need them. However, Instead of engaging with me at all, he closed the window without a word. I assumed at the time that he had not heard me.

Our short interactions seemed to be filtered through his visible irritation. So, I approached the situation with a smile, offering to trade the ridiculous stack of carriers for my card when he opened the window again.
Because again, I didn’t need a stack of drink carriers for 3 drinks.
His response? A smirk and a smart dismissal: “I can’t take anything back through the window.”
Which is totally ok, and I even said “that’s cool man”. Before I gently placed the carriers on the ledge, knowing there were no trash cans in sight, and I had a car full of kids and equipment.
He then aggressively yelled out the drive through window “REALLY!” as I pulled to the door, like I was told.

Here’s the kicker though: he never asked if I even wanted the drink carriers in the first place. And I tried to say I didn’t need them. However, his demeanor was so unpleasant that I tried not to create any more tension, because this guy clearly had a chip on his shoulder. When I was given my food, he proceeded to start scolding me in front of my kids by saying “That was real trifling, ma’am,”…..because I set the stack of drink carriers down, that I didn’t need, and didn’t ask for…..
I tried to remain calm at first, as I was in my car, with my young kids….asserting that his bad day shouldn’t be taken out on others and again, we didn’t need a stack of drink carriers….but instead of hearing any of this, he continued to escalate the situation unnessecarily, and got even more aggressive and threatening, shouting profanities at me while my kids watched, clearly frightened. I will say, at the end, I raised my voice back out of fear and told him to “Blank Off”. But It was because of how unnecessary and power trippy it all was for something as trivial as not needing drink carriers.

This man, who seemed to stand at about 6’4″ with poorly done tattoos up both arms, no hair, and looks to be a rough 50-55 years of age, has no business being the face of a fast-food operation. Especially when it comes to dealing with families, kids, and vulnerable customers. I’ve also seen similar negative reviews mentioning his behavior towards others, including the elderly and disabled.

I plan to escalate this to corporate and share my experience on various platforms, as no one should have to deal with such hostility in places that should be family-friendly. Until there are changes, I cannot in good conscience recommend this Wendy’s. It’s a hard pass for me, especially with someone like him, an aggressive and threatening man, representing their team.

And I will stand by the fact that you don’t have to be a cheery bundle of sunshine while working fast food. It stinks. I get it. But it doesn’t give you the right to be so out of pocket and rude towards a mom and her kids for no reason.

We ordered a large fry for my 5 year old son. What is this?? We get charged full price for half the amount… No we didn’t check as soon as we got the food because all the person has to do is fill up the fry box and we might have made the mistake of expecting good service. My son is in therapy for his eating so he only eats certain things so my husband got him French fries tonight then came home after a long day. No we don’t want to hop on the highway to go back to fix an order for just 1 large fry…. Thursday January 12th around 5pm for the Edinburgh Wendy’s in Chesapeake. The order was 1 fry and 1 medium frosty.. Thanks for almost nothing and won’t be back. My husband said the frosty was good so 2 star for the frosty.
