Order taker isn’t that great. Could use a smile and better customer service skills. This isn’t to knock but hopefully they take this info and use it to improve. As far as atmosphere I still don’t think anyone can go inside and eat and it’s always dark inside so that’s probably why. They are usually pretty quick though.

Is this place a front? Food is what I expect from Wendy’s and is fine, if I can get it. Have been here multiple times over the past few years and during the day, all seems fine. But any time after the dinner rush it’s a gamble if they’re actually still open. They always look open, but no one ever takes your order. Fix your hours. I don’t care when you close, just advertise your hours correctly. And fix your drive thru display, it’s been broken for like 3 years.

This place is trash. I couldn’t do a review for today 7/10/23 at 4:01 pm because Maps had me at Subway instead (which is right next door). I was waited on by Sterling and a young lady at the drive thru…..So I bought a biggie bag and ordered everything including a drink as you can see from the receipt. I got home and realized “no drink” it’s too hot to eat without an ice cold drink so I went back and politely asked for a bigger size drink because now I’m really parched because I went to both doors which were locked. According to the young lady because of “short staff” (I guess they can’t teach the locks) So I got back in my car and drove through the drive thru AGAIN and the young lady told me her “shift supervisor” yelled at her for trying to get me a bigger drink.

It’s been hit or miss with this place the last two years I’ve lived around here sadly. Website and app say it closes at midnight and months ago the manager contacted me about why they’d closed at like 7PM back then from short staff but were fixing it. That’s cool, I understand entirely. But tonight I ordered on the app a little before 11 and got here in a few minutes only to sit in the drive thru for 10 minutes to never be greeted or answered at all to get my order. So I had to cancel and when I drove around I saw three jackets on hooks and employees inside so I don’t know if they figure just ignore the customers until they go away or what. None of the fast food chains on the Blvd seem accurate I swear.

Dining room is closed but their service is amazing. My partner and I went during our work shift and we were able to go to the drive thru and have our order split so we could each pay for our own. The drive thru is tight but manageable for an ambulance.

This has been the third time I have been to this Avalon location and they have closed an hour or two earlier than what their hours of operation says. I arrived a little earlier than 10 and they was closing when they are supposed to be closing at 12. I don’t get it honestly. Hire some better staff or change your hours it’s that simple!

I traveled specifically to the Wendy’s on Ohio River Blvd got there an hour before they were scheduled to closed and was told they were closed. They always close before the actual time stated and it is a major inconvenience! This Wendy’s staff is very unprofessional and seem to do whatever they want with food and closing times.
