My husband and I were honeymooning in lovely Rome, New York. Thanks to Wendy’s, we are even more in love than the day of our wedding (also because I drank too much LOL). We’ll never forget our dinner at this lovely local establishment. Our lovely hostess met us in the atrium with a smile to let us know the newly renovated dining room was closed. However, our server in the drive through accommodated all of our dietary needs. My husband, they/ them, vegan, gluten-free, smiled ear to ear as he enjoyed his baked potato. It only came with chives but the ketchup packets allowed him to get his daily serving of vegetables. The atmosphere, customer service, and food made me think this marriage will be better. Thank you to the one armed guy who held the door for us. The chili is to die for.

We were waiting in line to order food when the cashier started yelling and swearing at another employee. He was complaining that he was supposed to get out at 8pm. He was very loud and made it very uncomfortable since I had my young boys with me.

Excellent Wendy’s restaurant!!! I’ve visited all of the Wendy’s locations in the Utica/Rome area, and this location is probably the friendliest! I was waited on immediately (unlike the New Hartford location), and I was also thanked (unlike the New Hartford location)! I still go to the New Hartford location, because it’s only 2 miles from my house…but I prefer to come to Rome, even though it’s 15 miles from my house!! They have nicer people working here, at the Rome location, and they get my order correct every time!

It was 10 pm on a Saturday night. 3 cars ahead of us in the drive thru. Waited 10 mins to get to the speaker and then was asked to hold on for another 5 mins. Another 7 mins to get to the window. Then sat and watched the employees arguing for a few more minutes before the guy at the window finally took my card and handed me our food. I saw 4 employees inside, and the dining room was closed. So there was no reason that a drive thru should take that long with that many people.

It’s Wendy’s. Food was delicious and HOT. The girl taking orders must have been new and was very nervous and all over the place. She forgot a few small things like cups and sauce. The one manager was SO mean to her though. I might not go back just because I felt so bad listening to her scream at the girl over some BBQ sauce. How you gonna be management and be so mean to your workers?

Omg I highly recommend this lil fast food place. Cait is definitely spot on with everyone who walks in the restaurant. The Cobb salad was delicious and impeccable service with a smile. We quietly sat with our food and watched in awe as Cait worked liked a Queen. She is truly management worthy! 5 stars

Wendy’s is a favorite of mine. The quality of the food is higher than many other fast food options. The prices are also higher than most, which makes me regret treating myself due to the pricing alone. The service appears to be no better than the competition. It’s fast food, so the employees are often in a hurry and don’t offer anything in particular to set them apart. They take an order and process payment, using as few words as possible. It’s nothing terrible, but it’s also not something to rate highly either. No one seems to enjoy their job and it shows, yet their service is simple and effective.

We were in Rome from out of town and wanted something to eat before we headed home. Wendy’s was the only thing open. I hadn’t had Wendy’s in awhile but thought I would try it. I got the $ 5 Biggie Bag. A Double Stack Burger, fries, 4 piece nugget & a drink. It was definitely worth the money. The food was really good! They also have awesome Pineapple Mango Lemonade!
