I came here to the drive through around 11:30 at night .. I asked for a 6 piece chicken nuggets and buffalo as my sauce .. I did not ask for whatever this is . My fries were STALE AND OLD and they didn’t give me my other harder of fries .. the young female at the window with the piercing on her face was very rude and needs to be trained correctly.

I stopped here and went through the drive thru to grab some lunch. The food was good. The person working the drive thru wasn’t as friendly as is typical with a Wendy’s Hamburger Restaurant. Perhaps she was overwhelmed by the business, but it just wasn’t normal when compared with the other locations.
It wasn’t bad, just not up to expectations, perhaps it is as good as it gets when you are in Waterbury.

This place used to be good, but lately it’s a no.
Fries are undercooked and cold. Nuggets fried in old oil that leaves a weird aftertaste.
No sauces that you ordered with your nuggets.
The chili is still good.

Workers weren’t wearing gloves when serving cooked food. The lady doing the fries and nuggets literally stuck her thumb inside the container over and over again before serving people. When I pointed this out the manager seemed annoyed and did not instruct her to put gloves on. However the young mad working the counter (short skinny kid, glasses, didn’t get his name) gladly repackaged new food with gloves and sans the thumb of doom.

Might seem odd to be rating a fast food location, but for last two years, I’ve been to this location dozens of times, always for the same thing!! Yes, it is possible to eat healthy at a fast food restaurant. I order “Four Large Patties with One piece of Cheese!” At first, some workers aren’t sure how to ring it up on the register, but now most of them know as soon as they see me walk in. It’s $5.84 and the beef is fresh! No ketchup, just a little salt and a large cup of water. That’s about one pound of beef. Great source of protein. (Update: Oct 2023 — Several months ago, price increased from $1.29 to $1.50/patty, but within the last few days it’s now increased to $2.00/patty, so no longer as great. I can buy 88% lean beef at Costco far cheaper) That’ll teach me to leave such detailed reviews.

Came to the drive thru tonight around 12 pm and they messed up my order I asked for chicken nuggets and sauce on the side and they gave me saucy nuggets that I didn’t ask for , mind you they forgot my one of fries and the fries they gave me were cold and limp. Ordered a blt crispy sandwich, there was no tomato, there was no bacon and it was ice cold. The burger was cold my son wouldn’t eat it as long as the fries. Tried to call the store to see if I can go back down to make it right and no response. Called 6 times no one picked up.

Wendy’s at least still offers the healthier choice of grilled chicken sandwiches vs. McDonald’s who surprisingly erased them from their menu a couple of months ago. This menu item, however, chosen for its fat grams and calories was healthy, yes, but very bland. It’s hard to mix healthy with fast food restaurants but I appreciate their continued efforts. By this, I don’t mean a tasty salad that has around 700, 800 calories and more fat grams or the same as a good sized burger.
