I dined here recently with a friend, and both of our sandwich entrees (as well as the soup sides) were so intensely salty that neither of us could finish our meal. The place was also practically empty despite what should have been peak weekend hours.

My cocktail was delicious and the staff were pleasant, but the food was simply inedible that night. We won’t risk going here again.

We decided to use Wendigo as the caterer for our wedding after we had 2 couples recommend them – they did not disappoint. They worked with us to curate a unique menu, perfect for the time of the year we were getting married. Our tasting experience was excellent, and the chef (Cale) came to talk to us following the tasting to see what we thought and understand our vision for our wedding. Come the big day, our guests were raving about the appetizers, main course, and the pizza they provided for the late night food. Not to mention, they have some of the most competitive pricing in the area, and they do not compromise in any aspect of service or taste. Wendigo was an amazing vendor for us, and their restaurant is going to be a staple visit for my wife and I in the years to come.

So a friend told us to go here. What a terrible experience.

So I expected a upscale farm to table experience with a great atmosphere.

What me and wife got was horrible service with very rude staff.

So first of we got cheese curds after recommend, they were so greasy I couldn’t eat them. Second my wife did not like her food at all, its been a while since we went so cant give details.
We both like to engage staff at new places to get an idea of what dishes people love to give us an idea of what to try.
I remember my dish was a pan fried chicken thighs, they were the smallest, terribly overcooked and very dry.

The encounter with the waitress was what will make me never go back. I said something and nothing was done. I asked for the owner or cook she said they left and she was in charge. She also told me she personally cooked my chicken and was offended I said it was bad. She was not dressed in attire to be cooking in a professional kitchen.
She made a snarky remark about my wife and thats when I was over this terrible experience.
We left and will never go back.

Wendigo has some of the best food around, and their cheese curds are absolutely to die for! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Great atmosphere and friendly service make it even better.

Highly recommend stopping in if you haven’t yet!

My boyfriend and I got dinner at Wendigo before seeing a concert at the Stoughton Opera House. It was our first time and we were blown away by the space, service, and food. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. The staff here clearly care and it shows.

We arrived and almost every table had a reserved sign.
The staff was very friendly. We sat right away and the menu looked delicious. We tried the beer battered curds to start. I recommend at least 3 people share this. The crust was very unique and curds are. Big.
* I had the Phorench Dip
Shaved beef, pickled jalapenos, sriracha aioli.
* My wife had the Ghee Whiz
Marinated chicken, tomato chutney, raita.
* And Mom got the Acorn Squash Pot Pie
Lentils, Pears, Sage Cream, Butternut Squash Salad
We all tried each other’s dishes and they were phenomenal.
Moms squash pot pie was very interesting it was made in the squash and not in a pie crust. The crust was on top. I found it yummy and a great vegetarian option. As a non-vegetarian, I would have ordered it.
For drinks, we their specialty, Apple Cinnamon Old Fashioned. It did not disappoint and we had 2 each.

You def need a reservation on nights they have a show at the Opera.

We chose Wendigo to do the catering for our wedding down the street at The Lageret and all I can say is WOW. We never expected to be able to create our own custom menu and it was so much fun to work with Cale and Leslie through the process. We did multiple tastings and revisions to our menu and they were there with us every step of the way. I’ve never seen more people rave about the food at a wedding and it was so special to have our guests taste our favorite foods and flavors. You can tell how passionate they are about the food and tailoring the experience to you. We are simply blown away and can’t thank Wendigo Catering enough for all of the hard work that went into our wedding.

Been here twice and excited to come back to try more entrees. High quality food – yum! Great for a date or a meetup with girlfriends. My seven year old son gets the Mac n Cheese and fries and that works for him:)

This is a small, quiet place. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service was good overall. Friendly waitresses.

The cheesecurds are absolutely amazing! They’re some of the best I’ve had. The breading is perfect, and they have the right amount of cheese.

The greenbean casserole, in my opinion, was not that great. It’s one of the worst I’ve had, but again, that is just my opinion.

Decently priced meals.
