Came for Saturday afternoon lunch. We ordered the mushroom and swiss burger, a regular burger with bacon and cheese, soda fountain drinks, and loaded fries. Overall, it was pretty good. Burgers definitely tasted fresh, flavorful, and were a meaty good size. Fries were ok. You definitely get your moneys worth in the loaded fries as they are PACKED in and full of all the things. We barely finished half of it – and it’s about a “Chipotle” sized bowl container for reference. However, the fries were a bit greasy/limp/squishy and because that and the bowl being so full, it was almost like a french fry loaf all compacted together. Wasn’t really a fan of that in the end. Next time will try regular fries.
Loved the country home feel of the restaurant. All of the staff we interacted with were very nice. Service was quick. Very, very clean inside. Limited parking at the restaurant, but there was more across the street. Keto diet friendly with several options, for those who participate.

I am just a “Good Ole Country Boy” by heart and nothing is better for me than a “Good Ole Fashioned Hamburger” and reading so much about Wells Cattle Co Burger & Pies on the internet and making friends with Lee Wells on Facebook because I believe in “His Beliefs” when it comes to religion, living, and politics I just HAD to make a drive from Sachse to Rockwall just to give this restaurant a try.
I was basically sold when I walked in the front door – A very simple country type setting, no frills, made me feel like I was back home when I was a kid at our local diner.
I ordered the simple hamburger, fries, and a drink and when they were delivered to my table they were no disappointment – they were OUTSTANDING !!!!! All of the beef served in this restaurant is raised by Lee Wells who owns the restaurant and it is all grass fed, natural beef, with no additives. It was fabulous.
Worth the trip from Sachse – VERY MUCH SO !!!!!!!!!!!
I wish Lee the very best in his endeavor in this restaurant as well as his restaurant in Royse City along with his cattle operation and all his other businesses.
And I most commend Lee on his commitment of helping others which he has shown through his life and lately during the fires !!!!

My wife had a lettuce wrapped burger and I had the Chorizo burger. We shared the loaded fries. The food was very good a lot like Rodeo Goat. The loaded fries were good, but Snuffers still has the best loaded fries in my opinion. The Peach cobbler with ice cream was the best we have ever had anywhere. I loved the Wells branded bun, so cool. Parking may seem difficult but we didn’t have any problems.

Awesome burger spot! Old house converted into a restaurant. Owner is a cattle rancher who sources all their own beef. Fantastic food and atmosphere, very chill relaxed. Family friendly. Service feels like we’re eating at Mom’s house. We’ll definitely be back.

The burgers were fresh, flavorful, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything tasted homemade and not greasy at all.
But the real star… the LOADED FRIES

Their homemade vegetarian burger patty was super yummy and I’m very picky when it comes to vegetarian patties.
Oh! Gotta mention their sauce selection!! I got bbq sauce on my burger and their homemade ranch with the fries was unique but very very good! A must try!
My boyfriend typically dislikes French fries but to our surprise he loved these fries! We shared one order with our burgers and the burgers are very well portions and made to perfection!
We came for a work lunch break and their table options were great! Enough space to set up our phones and tablets to work while eating.

Best burger I’ve had in forever, fries were very tasty. Topped off with a slice of Coconut pie. Sweet lady at the counter made the experience even nicer. Definitely worth a try…. Taste the freshness and quality of the beef. Looking forward to my next visit. Ask for two ranch or spicy ketchup with your fries.
