Garlic papadums burned on the edges. Speciality king prawn dish with 4 prawns, served still in shells meaning you have to fight to get to them and trying to avoid burning on the sauce and getting splattered. Sauce lacks flavour or spice and dhal more like a soup.

Had a takeaway.
The curry was a bit bland and watery, could have been a slightly bigger portion.
Good portion of rice though.
Naan bread didn’t taste of garlic and was a bit tough.
Don’t think we’ll order from here again unfortunately.

Placed an extra large order for 16 people with not much notice. Order was spot on and ready for collection on time. Everyone said the food was beautiful and the price was very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend them. Naz and Asif were extremely welcoming and accommodating too. 5 stars all round

Dropped in this evening without booking as we fancied an Indian! We didn’t know that this place had been taken over (we don’t live in Wellington directly) but wow were we impressed. Food was amazing, flavourful, not greasy, and tasted phenomenal! Staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble and clearly feel passionately about what they deliver. Music was fun and designed so you’re not consciously whispering your conversation! We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back!

First night back in after the rebranding. Absolutely fantastic. Food was delicious. Service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a joint 21st birthday. They bought out cakes and sparklers too! Definitely recommend and most definitely returning.

We had the set menu and the food was absolutely delicious.
Massive bonus was Asif’s love potion… cocktail!

Chicken Mahkani – Bland, no taste and gravy like – warm, not hot unlike the CTM.
Chicken Tikka was also bland and tasted like it was poured straight out of a tomato sauce bottle with less taste.
Poppadoms all broken into tiny bits but the peshwari nan was very nice. But no currents..
Delivery very prompt – Didn’t appreciate the 50p plastic bag charge to cart it here! Not again.. Bring back Tamarind Bay

Popped in on a Pensive Monday night but food was fresh and tasty. Our taste buds were tickled with the King Prawn Pooree starter, spicy sweet and juicy. The main course was a South Indian Garlic Chicken Curry ..tasted as great as it sounds and served with fluffy fresh Rice and very fresh Aloo Gobi. Its a 10 from Len!!

Me and my partner had a lovely meal this evening. We were offered and explained the set menu but there was so much on it we chose from the other menu. We were asked what our usual dish was and our preferences and was given recommendations. I was recommended the chefs special and it was amazing! My partner had a chicken pasanda and he loved it. Great value for money and delicious food. Best Indian food we have had in ages!! We will be coming back soon! It’s a must try if you’re in Wellington and want an amazing curry!!
