I absolutely love hot pot, but when I first came to Boston, I tried another place and the smell was so unpleasant that I decided never to go back. This restaurant completely changed my mind — the aroma here is amazing, the taste is excellent, and everything feels so fresh and natural. The spicy broth is rich and flavorful, and I really appreciate that they make the soup base by simmering real bones instead of using artificial powders. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the atmosphere is cozy and authentic. Definitely the best hot pot experience I’ve had in Boston! ❤️

Overall, the experience was good, and the food met my expectations. However, the service felt a bit rushed at times. I felt that the hospitality could be more refined, especially considering the price point. The servers were efficient, but a warmer and more relaxed approach would have made the experience more enjoyable.

Perfect place to bond with friends over boiling broth and shared spice trauma That little bridge to the sauce station had no business being that cute
Crossed it like it was my destiny… repeatedly.
Hotpot so good I forgot to talk. Just dipping. Just happiness.
Left full, happy, and already planning the next visit.

My partner and I went here recently and were really impressed with the flavor and the quality of the food here! The decor is well done and the music is played at a nice level to add to the ambiance and not be too loud for conversation. The staff was kind when explaining different heat levels and the food came out fairly quick. We’ve tried a few hot pot places in the boston area but will definitely be coming back here more often!

“Just had an amazing experience at Wei Shu Wu Hot Pot 味蜀吾火锅 in Quincy! The staff were super helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was incredibly fresh and the variety of options was impressive. Loved the traditional Sichuan ambiance and flavors – it felt like a authentic taste of China . The sauce selection was on point, we had a blast mixing and matching to find our perfect combo. Highly recommend trying the mala broth if you’re feeling spicy! Will definitely be back for more .”

Went here with family for dinner. The decor inside is very well thought out and pretty. Seems to be well staffed. For a Friday night, it wasn’t as packed and there were plenty of tables available. Food came out quickly and tasted just as you’d expect. Drinks were also tasty and refreshing. There’s a small little sauce bar for you to assemble your dipping sauce

What a fun restaurant! Very delicious broths! The Chili broth, even at the mild level, is extremely spicy. Pork broth and tom yum were so good. Great selection of ingredients, and yummy drinks.

Amazing spot. Waiters were great and the food was dynamite. The broth was out of this world. We had the Pork bone broth and the house chili broth – both were out of this world. We also loved how big the tables were so we weren’t too crammed eating our food. Would absolutely come back!

If you want to experience NO SERVICE and ruin your meal, then please go.
It was about 8:50pm when me and my husband arrived. From the moment we stepped into the place, we got a poker face from the server who is tall, thin and got tattoos on his right fingers. He didn’t talk to us, just pointed at the table to have us sit. We were there about 1.5 hours, we didn’t see him smile once, he talked no more than 3 sentences to us. At the beginning I genuinely thought he can’t speak which is fine, but at the end when he asked if we want to pack the broth then I realized oh he can actually talk.
He asked us if we want to take some broth while there was almost nothing left because he didn’t come to add the broth even once himself, we asked him to add it up once and he added it to the level that was below half the pot. He also spilled some HOT broth on my husband’s leg, of course he didn’t say anything at that moment or offer to help.
At the end we asked some food containers to pack the rest of the veggies and check out. First he brought us two plastic bags, so you’ll just put your veggies into a plastic bag then put the plastic bag into another plastic bag. We’ve never received plastic bag as food containers at any other places. If it’s the rule of this place, then this is really bad. Second he disappeared after he brought us the receipt, it was not busy at the moment, more than half the tables were not occupied. I saw him smiling and chatting with another server on my way to the bathroom, he saw me walked by him then he started moving to our table.
The person who delivered the pot and plates was pleasant and friendly at least.
Please monitor and train your employees to do their job properly.
