A Different Take
I heard good things about their hamburgers and was traveling through the area and stopped. The Country burger and fries were disappointing and I didn’t finish either. I also bought a Ham & Salami combo. I got home and there were only 3 pieces of salami after they bragged about generous amounts. And there was NO HAM! Then I noticed there was a second pathetic salami sandwich so they probably charged me for 2 when I only asked for 1. I’m never going there again and unsaved on Google Maps.

Coming back from the lake and I wanted a local burger spot and now here we are. I don’t usually eat the things I ordered but today was a cheat day and I’m glad I did. The chili cheese fries were hot and fresh. The Western Wrangler burger was more like a steak sandwich, but it was pretty good even though I don’t think the patties are fresh. What sealed the deal for me was the root beer float. Not sure why it tasted so delicious that I had to order another one.

Best part was being able to sit on my tailgate and enjoy the outside and small town feel.

So as you might already know definitely a drive up old school style in the small town of Clements…the whole town is only like a block long. Food is really good, prices are awesome.
The only problem I really have is when I ordered my double cheese burger ($6) she said “oh so is sauce OK for you”
and I’m thinking like thousand Island or of course most people like catchup and mustard so whatever. The burger comes out and what they call sauce was only mayonnaise. Not OK. I also ordered ranch and they forgot it, but they also didn’t charge me for it.
Then ordered my friend a ranch burger. Do you think that a ranch burger would come with ranch dressing on it
??…
nope…mayonnaise on that one too maybe it’s a ranch burger because it’s on a sub roll and two patties side-by-side like a sandwich? I’m lost. Anyways..
Give it a try.

Pretty good food and has been around for awhile. Stopped in after work just recently in the rain and we ended up just leaving after 10-15 minutes standing at the front waiting to be acknowledged or take an order. Was kinda disappointed because we were hopping for a good burger meal. Still worth giving them another chance in the future again.

I love this place been going there for about 5 years, bacon cheeseburger and a root beer is my usual. I stop on my way oit to my cabin, just tried a few days ago, and its only Cash now. So I was bummed, no cash, but I will be back next time. Cash $10 for a burger and drink. Good deal if you ask me.

Updated the place and it looks so nice. New menus and paint! The ice cream seemed to taste better today.

Always meant to stop and finally did after a long week at Lake Comanche. Old school dinner. Food was good, not too greasy. Milkshake was good, add fries, chicken nuggets, 05 of us for under 50 bucks. Wasn’t busy when we got there. But shortly after the place got packed, looks like a lot of locals and just there’s just a good place to stop.I’ll stop next time

The food and service here was fantastic! I also loved the little seating area outside. The place makes me think of old school drive ins, in a good way. They had freezies which is soda and ice cream mixed. They have ice cream, they have good sides, and a lot of burger options.

I wanted to love it, but patty was small and dry. Fries was a good size, but cold. Service was not good, thicken your skin, she was harsh. But the milkshake was large and thick, that’s what I would stop for.
