Nice large restaurant. We sat upstairs outside so we could have a view of Lake Chautauqua. Arrived at 4 pm when they opened on a Friday evening, so there wasn’t a wait. We started by ordering drinks. A Margarita ($12.00) and a Blueberry Remedy ($10.50), both of which were good but very small. Barely 8 oz of liquid by time the ice was added to the glass. The variety of rolls came out warm and were delicious. My husband and I both ordered the Chicken Mediterranean, which was presented very well and was delicious. Lastly, their dinners do not include salads, so we ordered house salads in addition to our dinner for a $13.90 up charge for 2. Our waitress was friendly and good at her job. If we are back in the area, we will probably eat there again for the location.

From my parents who had dinner there this evening– We came for our 33rd anniversary dinner tonight, thinking we were going to receive 5 star dining based on the prices, however, we were WRONG.

We had the lamb special and the meat was extremely over cooked and the mashed potatoes were the worst I have ever eaten in my life. The best way to describe the potatoes are a consistency comparable to PASTE!

The biscuits were hard and tasted like they over used baking soda in the recipe.

The Beef tenderloin was ordered as medium rare and it came out to us as medium well. I can make a better tenderloin at home in my Traeger than these people did tonight. At least I use a temperature gage to indicate the temp for medium rare and don’t over cook my steaks.

The baked potato was brown on the inside. Which is an indicator that it was either over cooked or leftover from the day prior and reheated for the meal.

The house salad dressing should have been left out on the range. It did NOT taste like any type of ranch dressing I have eaten in my life. I’m pretty sure it was just mayonnaise with some light seasonings.

The strawberry shortcake was nothing to be desired. It hardly had any strawberries or whipped crème. You are better off going to Dairy Queen for a dessert.

Service was extremely slow and it wasn’t packed. We had to wait 15 minutes to receive a glass of water! What are these cooks and servers doing?

Don’t bother wasting your money at a restaurant like this. You are better off going into Jamestown or Erie to eat at a chain restaurant like Red Lobster or Olive Garden.

Beautiful building, the food was okay for the price. The beef on wick was delicious.. however the service is poor. Waiting staff was as unfriendly as you can get. Hand you something and take off immediately, never asked if we needed anything or how our plates were. We had to go find someone for another beverage. A smile goes a long way and there were none to be found! .

Stopped here for lunch on a quiet Wednesday afternoon since we were in the area. Besides my husband and I , there appeared to be 2 other tables. The interior is nice enough and our waitress was friendly enough. My husband got a burger and I got the grilled chicken salad. We split the shrimp cocktail and bruschetta appetizers. The meals were fine , if unremarkable. What keeps this from being a 3.5 star or even 4 star was the slow as molasses service. I know some people enjoy a leisurely lunch, but the slow service was painful as could be. She did refill my husband’s soda once but never asked if we wanted the check. We had to make it extremely obvious we were done but even then there was no sense of urgency. We were there over an hour and a half and for two people who are always on the go, it was really too much time. Also, the prices were not, in my opinion, commiserate with the food quality, although that’s a matter of personal opinion and open to debate.

The food was a little pricey but well worth it. There was more than enough food in the portions we received. Nice view of the lake if you are fortunate enough to get a seat in the front. My one complaint, the wait staff is a little slow. I was there on a Sunday afternoon around 3, during a Bill’s game. There were maybe 6 occupied tables and most of them were finishing up from a late lunch. We still waited some time for our waitress, who did apologize for the delay. We weren’t in any hurry, so no big deal. Good food, nice atmosphere. If you aren’t in a hurry, it’s a nice place to eat.

Came here for lunch on a road trip after everything in one of the towns we drove through was closed. Was hesitant about some previous reviews I saw but decided to make my own opinion. Great ambiance and friendly service. Food was tasty and seemed like a lot was homemade. Great coffee flight btw. Dinner menu was looking good but dinner starts at 4:00pm. Overall no complaints. We will have to come back for dinner.

We stumbled about this restaurant when we realized another local spot was seasonally closed. We didn’t realize it but it was a little more formal than anticipated so we sat in the bar area which worked out just fine. The food was tasty and service friendly. It is a little pricey but we felt the food quality was worth it. I would recommend!

Our waitress Julie was the best from start to finish. Food was good. Love the seasonal decor and oil lamps on the table.

2nd visit here this time for dinner. What’s shown in the picture is a half portion so I’d say you get enough food but it’s still a tad pricey for what you are getting. Still though, I thought the food was very good and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
