Went here for family lunch. The foods are great. We had 2 lobsters, clam strips roll, appetizer combo and calamari. The lobster is very fresh and juicy. Calamari is a bit spicy, love it. I just wonder if they have shoestring fries instead of the bigger one. The portion is huge (for me). Service was great (our server’s that day was Shereen (?)). She was very informative and being very patient. Thank you so much.

Very delicious food and drinks! My family and I come here often from Boston because my mom and grandma likes this restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Great chain restaurant! Food is consistent and tasty. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Went here for a light lunch with my wife and little girl and had an enjoyable lunch. There are a lot of good restaurants in New England. By no means does this three star review mean it’s bad, there is fierce competition and this place is dated. The salad was a great portion and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The chowda is tasty and we all enjoyed taking it down. The rum punch was a great touch and made in house. Bring the family down and go enjoy a fun meal!

The good: the service was decent and there’s definitely value here – the 3 lobster rolls for $50 deal was very fair. The amount of lobster in the rolls was generous.

The bad: the lobster rolls here are made with quite a bit of celery and lettuce. I don’t understand this. I really don’t want watery celery and lettuce in the mix when I’m trying to enjoy lobster. It seems like a poor choice. We also ordered the onion rings and they had no salt. I get that you can add salt yourself but really it should be done as soon as fried food comes out of the fryer so that it actually sticks. It makes me wonder if they bother salting their fried food. I didn’t order the fried clams but I noticed they only do strips and don’t do whole clams – odd choice in my opinion – who orders strips instead of whole?

We stopped in to try this location on a Sunday afternoon. Let’s start with the positive. Service was excellent. The atmosphere, delightful and the place was clean, bathroom included.

Now, the ugly. Seafood in New England has a high standard. This meal including the sharing of their “Admiral’s Platter”, upgraded to include sea scallops was downright awful. Why any New England seafood restaurant has bay scallops on their menu is a question in itself. The seafood was flavorless, and over breaded. I think much of it was pre-frozen based on the shape and consistency. Sea scallops had no flavor, the haddock appeared to be machine created. I’m not sure what the bay scallops were and the shrimp was just there. No flavor, TINY and lots of breading. The fries were good, and the clam strips acceptable. We will give credit to their onion nuggets were outright good, with a far different breading than the “seafood”, but came with no dipping sauce.

In this region, you can do far better for seafood. My suggestion,, when passing this establishment, is to keep right on going. There’s better quality available close by.

I ordered special – baked Haddock with parmesan cheese and pasta. $10 and quite a disappointment – lots of pasta and so little fish. Kind of a surprise, because when I had fish and chips, they served me almost whole fish. Still I like this restaurant, nice atmosphere. Sometimes gets crowded, call ahead or get ready to wait around 15 min.

We Love this Restaurant~Great Food~Service~Fish & Chips is my Go-To Food. Usually, I get a Baked Potato & Broccoli with my Fish. Last weeks meal was Spectacular! This week we went back on Wednesday, usually Fish & Chips are a Special. They said they are no longer running the Special on Wednesday! We stayed and payed full price for our Fish & Chips just like the previous week, but we’re disappointed with the Fish! They changed the Fish! Batter seemed different~Fish Shape seemed Frozen~we won’t be going there for Yummy Fish & Chips anymore~~~☹

Dined at the bar and Stacey took great care of me. Went with a good old Sam Adams Lager, the Half-Half combo of Sea Scallops and Whole Belly Clams along with Pa’s World Famous Onion Rings (upcharge) and creamy cole slaw. Look at the pictures…if you know fried seafood you can tell this meal was perfectly cooked. The batter is light and doesn’t overpower the seafood and of course clean oil is essential to presenting a delicious fried seafood platter. What’s nice is you experience the same quality of food and service regardless of the Weathervane restaurant you dine in!!!
