Customer service was awesome! I got the smoke chicken wings and they were done and cooked well done like i like them smoked to perfection! I will definitely be back to get more , I also tried the rib tips with and without the sauce! The flavor was so good and smoked so tender I recommend them

I can’t say enough good things about Cory Jones and We Smokin’ Soul Food Truck. The rib tips are absolutely incredible—honestly the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly tender, packed with flavor, and paired with a barbecue sauce that’s smooth, sweet, and compliments the meat beautifully.
On top of the amazing food, Cory himself is just a wonderful guy. Friendly, welcoming, and passionate about what he does. You can tell he puts his heart into every plate he serves.
Wherever this truck is parked, I’ll be there. Hands down some of the best barbecue you’ll find anywhere in Cincinnati!!

This foodtruck is very unprofessional. We had them scheduled for our campground halloween bash. They said they would reach out closer to the event and it was 3 days before so ai reached out and they read my 3 messages and just never responded…so here I am a day before the event still trying to find a last minute food truck…I do not recommend..im also kind lf glad they did this as after reading their Facebook reviews….maybe I didn’t want them coming.

The food is amazing! I got some turkey tips & they were so tender, flavorful, & the perfect size. The macaroni was so creamy, cheesy, & smoky. The owner is so polite and joyful. Please check this place out, you won’t be disappointed. I’m looking forward to going back.

Kept passing this place and meaning to stop. Smelled delicious. Finally gave it a try and got some rib tips and wings. I’m a big BBQ-er and am not impressed easily but this place is spot on. The sauce is great, the rib tips are a perfect mix of meat, fat, and crisped up edges. The wings were perfectly cooked. Will be back for sure!

I stopped today on my lunch break, ordered a pulled chicken $9, Mac and cheese $3.5 and collard greens $3. The child taking the payments charged me $28.82. I didn’t like to complain so I got in my car thought about and went back and showed him the transaction on my phone asking him if this was correct knowing my food should have only been about $18 maybe $19 total because of tax and a transaction fee. And he hands me $8 in cash and then says it might be 21 can I have a $1 back. I wasn’t going to argue with someone who was obviously young enough to be in junior high, gave him the dollar back and said we are even. The food I paid for was not worth $21.

Absolutely the best barbecue in the city. There’s not even a close runner up. The meats are all smoked to perfection. The rib tip portions are certainly generous. The ribs are juicy and perfectly cooked and the chicken too. The greens are amazing and the pinto beans. I’ve been following this truck through three different locations. I hope they’re around forever.

I tried them for the first time when they were at Surrey Square during the pandemic. I admit that their turkey tips were good. Juicy like they been marinated and their barbecue sauce is not too sweet or acidic. Now almost 2 years later, my daughter brought us turkey tips plates from them at their new location at Central Station Mall in Norwood.
I couldn’t eat it at the time because I was sick, but I had to eat it. I reheated it in the microwave and I’d really regret doing that. I had tasted more smoke than flavor and the texture of the meat is tough and scratched my throat. I don’t like to say anything bad about someone’s food, but if they see this review I hope that next time they will marinade their turkey tips and don’t oversmoke them. I want to taste flavor, not cancer!
