I’ve seen Wayback Burgers in a couple of places but decided to try it during our vacation in College Station. We ordered our food online and picked it up at the designated time that was texted to us. By the time we received and ate our food, it was soggy and fairly cold.
We ordered a Cheesesteak, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Big Easy, and a Milkshake. For all of our burgers and sandwiches, they were soggy. The trip home from Wayback Burgers is only 5 minutes, so we weren’t in the car for that long. However, we did ordered and picked up our food 15-30 minutes before closing. As for the flavors, the Cheesesteak didn’t taste much like a Philly Cheesesteak. It had more of a Sloppy Joe type-of-flavor. Additionally, the tomatoes fell out as soon as I unwrapped the packaging. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich wasn’t spicy at all thus it isn’t one of our favorite or decent Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich(es). We can’t comment on the Big Easy or Milkshake since our friend ordered it, but he said it was alright.
Overall, I don’t think I will be returning. If I do return, however, I would probably order their fries, and I would eat in the restaurant instead of picking up. I would not order the Cheesesteak or Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, though.

This is a very good burger franchise. I visited the College Station location a ordered the
Double Bacon. Although it was not as large as the menu picture implied, it was very tasty. The fries were fresh. With a little salt and pepper they were good. The burger waa juicy and fresh. The bacon had good taste, but was paper thin. Overall it was a good experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these burgers. The classic double with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions was super juicy and so delicious! I’d definitely recommend it to someone looking for a quick bite to eat. You can order ahead of time to make for a quick pickup.

Located next to a Target with plenty of parking. This burger joint is your average burger restaurant with it’s own twist, nothing fancy. Small menu, which is great. Fast turn around time. The burger tasted great to my satisfaction. The place wasn’t busy at all, and can maybe hold 30 people comfortably

First the Burger was decent, the Patty tasted like Real Beef and my Veggies seemed Fresh & Crisp, Bun was also okay.
The Staff was very friendly and got my food out quick.
The place has plenty of seating relaxed atmosphere and many discounts available for Military, Students, even Church goers.
My only complaint and reason to drop to 4 Star instead of 5 is the Fries were not good at all, and if I had not got Chili & Cheese on top I probably would have just tossed them.
They were hot, but still tasted stale like they had been cooked way before hand.

First time here The lady who took my order was especially Patient her name was Ashley she helped me put together the best burger ive had in a while and the shake was to die for!!! The owner was present and attentive to customers as well as helping on the Grill to ensure speedy service. Overall the the wait wasnt long. I wouldnt call this a fast food restaurant at all definitely Quality over quantity i enjoyed my visit will be back for sure with friends and family

I hate to post negative reviews but this is well deserved. Burgers were good but they took a long time to be ready. Once ready, the order was wrong. Went ahead and ate it to avoid wasting more time and food. As we got the late food, we asked about our bacon cheese fries, which they forgot about. They apologized and said to wait five minutes… but after thirty minutes we went up and told them that it was fine and we were leaving. They said they were almost done and they were melting the cheese… well one minutes later of “melting” cheese the fries came out with unmelted shredded cheese and a couple of unpleasant bacon pieces. Worst cheese fries ever and not very good service. Along with the poor quality, the prices were wrong and contradicting. The board said $3.29 but our receipt was $4.49, when we asked about it they said “sorry I don’t control that.” Not very helpful. Hope this comment can help them improve there quality and customer service. Very disappointed.

Tried this place a few times and each time was bad. Not very tasty and staff seems distraught. Last time I was here I placed an order for pickup, 2 burgers and a chicken sandwhich. The chicken sandwhich was burnt, burnt black to charcoal. I returned to the store and the owner was on site. He thought I was joking and then saw the food. He apologized and said my order would be refunded. It’s been over a month and I haven’t been refunded and the new chicken sandwhich was still over cooked but at least edible.

I don’t think it was worth it. Try Freddie’s, Five Guys, or Fudruckers. The burgers here are small and over $6 for a small double by itself. A small combo is an additional $3. Salads are $7 for lettuce. The chicken sandwich, though tasty, didn’t cover the bun which should be very easy to cover, so it too was small.

The burgers were good and juice and flavorful. Very fair price for. 12 bucks for a burger fries and a drink. The fries could of used some seasoning but all the food was hot and fresh. The milkshakes were ok as well
