First time here, and it was delicious. Disregard the poor reviews of the past. This is the present. And I was impressed. I ordered the make-it-your-own and ordered up a single pattie burger with mushrooms, grilled onions, BBQ sauce, lettuce, Swiss cheese, and bacon. I knew ordering a burger this way was going to be a little pricey, so it didnt bother me. I care about quality and satisfying what I’m hungry for. And this burger was absolutely delicious. Hot, fresh, and I couldn’t eat it fast enough.
Along with beef burgers they also have chicken burgers, and several flavors of milkshakes. (And more, but I only skimmed the menu)
The atmosphere I gave 4 stars because I was the only one there, so I was a little sad for them. However, they were getting back to back to-go orders being picked up so that’s a great sign. Also, the cashier was very sweet and polite and attentive.
New traditions can’t start until you give them a try, and I’ll defintely be coming here again.

Decided to give Wayback a shot. I ordered the Bourbon Bacon and made it a combo meal for a total of $15. If you are charging $10 for the burger, it should bring the flavor. Turns out they rely on bourbon mustard to provide any flavor on this burger. The patties were dry and over cooked, not seasoned at all. The cheddar cheese was practically non existent, you could literally see thru the slices. The fries were great and there was no tea available. Will not be back. I think there are way better burgers elsewhere.

Our family was looking forward to our first trip back to Wayback Burger since the old management sold it to a new owner. I will say that I loved my burger. The atmosphere is pretty cool too, and the manager was on top of her game. However, she had her hands full working with a lack-luster staff. It took a couple of times, but they finally got our order right.
We ordered a couple of burgers, Cajun spiced tots, and O-Fries (an onion ring fry combo). In the future I will skip the sides because they were terrible. We just threw the sides away. The tots were so over seasoned they were inedible and the sad little onion rings were a soggy mess.
Even though I am not a fan of the sides, I felt that based on other fast-food options in the area the burgers at WayBack are a superior choice and excellent value for the money.

Was driving around looking for something to eat, I saw this place for the 1st time and decided to turn around and give it a shot. Super nice lady at the counter, she even walked around the counter to give me my order. I go other places, they just point to the order when it’s ready. That handing of my order with care and a smile, makes a huge difference. The burger and fries I ordered were delicious and I’ll be back soon. You won my business for sure. Thank you

Very good service from the friendly wait staff. Food was also really good. My expectations were a bit low because of the fast food layout, but the burger and sandwich were both extremely yummy. You can tell the ingredients were fresh. The fries were slightly above average, I’ve had better and definitely had worse. The Cajun tots were far superior. You’ll want to get extra sauce with the chicken sandwich too as the first bite without any sauce made me think it would be very bland. Getting farther into it though, it was pretty solid. Burger was smash style and you could taste the crust they put on it which I liked.

Food was great! Veggie burger was one of the best I’ve ever had!! My nieces and daughters had smoothies and all said they enjoyed it! Place is cozy! Disappointed I didn’t take photos of our food, I forgot as we were all so hungry.

Really should have just stayed closed. My big easy burger came with a tiny little speck if the Cajun remoulade sauce on the bottom bun, which is literally disintegrating due to the amount of Grease, bacon looks like it may have gotten kind of close to the heat for a second. I would not let someone I don’t like waste their money here. If I wasn’t starving and didn’t just spend $15 on this….food, I would not even attempt to eat it. Nonetheless I’ll suffer through and will not return.

This was my second time eating at this franchise. The food was very delicious and there many options. You’d definitely want to come whenever you want a tasty burger. The service was excellent.

I’ve been in a few Way back burger restaurants and this one is ran by the wrong people. Unorganized and it took 5 times too long to get our food. Customer service is also bottom of the barrel. I suggest getting a nice and intelligent person to manage this location. This seems to be common place concerning most businesses in Memphis ran by the same quality of people so I wasn’t necessarily surprised but definitely disappointed. Additionally the people running this location purposely turn down the music because it’s not what they like to listen to. I’m sure if was rap it would be blasted.

Service was good. Staff was great and extremely helpful. Ordered and it took about 15 minutes for the food to come out. Burgers were great. Onion rings were great. Fries were ok but I didn’t care for the macaroni bites. I’ll definitely be back to try more food.
