I ordered a craft your own single and by the looks was just ok (missing more lettuce in my opinion) but the taste was really good. The fries were really good too. We also ordered a strawberry shake and was to die for, on the other hand the tangerine lemonade was straight up syrup. Overall good burger (what we came for)

Saw a recommendation on YouTube and found a Wayback Burgers about 30 miles away. Cheesy burger tasted as I expected. Fries were pretty good. Coke products only. No Mountain Dew. The restaurant is wayback.off of the street. Glad I had a map.

I ordered chicken tenders an order of fries and sweet tea. The chicken was completely dry and the coating was partially black. I could have gotten better nuggets at McDonald’s and have paid half the price. I ordered tea but they gave me lemonade and I asked the cashier and she said they don’t have tea so she just decided to give me lemonade. Fries were stale. Completely horrible experience. I have eaten here before and haven’t had trouble but today was terrible. I won’t eat here again.

My husband and I stumbled across Wayback Burgers by chance last week when we were out running errands. We were initially hungry for sushi, but apparently everyone else in Coconut Creek was too that evening, so there was a bit of a wait at the sushi restaurant nearby. We had actually walked past Wayback Burgers on the way to sushi and to be honest, just looking in the windows made me hungry for a burger and shake instead. So I suggested we give them a try. I am so glad we did! Not only were the burgers, fries and shakes excellent, but they also serve gluten-free buns upon request! I have been gluten free for years and have grown accustomed to the bun-less burger, but having the opportunity to enjoy a hamburger WITH a bun completely made my day. And the bun was amazing! Gluten free buns are usually dry and hard, but this one was soft and fluffy and the flavor was perfect! It may sound odd to spend so much time reviewing the bun, but any of my fellow gluten-free eaters will understand. In addition to delicious food, the restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. Shawn took our order and was very personable and attentive. He even came out to our table after we were served to make sure I was enjoying my gluten-free burger, which I certainly was! If you’re ever in the area (or even not in the area and just hungry for a great hamburger and shake) I would highly recommend Wayback Burgers.

I went through the curbside and call early for my order. I was greeted with a friendly face and a nice “Hello! How are you today?” The gentleman name was Eddie very professional . Whoever hired him must be very pleased with the work he is doing. I am very pleased with my experience and the meal hot and juice burgers. Definitely will come back again. Bring back Wayback Burger to our community was the best thing for us since Aim from savanna Georgia and has been in your restaurant many times before, fell like home again .Thank you and keep the good work.

Awful experience, false advertising on National Burger Day.
EDIT MADE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE: I had heard about the $3.00 National Hamburger Day Promotion online and went to the restaurant to take advantage of the deal. Upon my arrival, I saw the advertisement confirming that the promotion was available and went inside. The cashier advised that the promotion was only available through the app and that they would not be honoring the promotion for in-person orders. When asked, the manager on duty advised that they had been honoring the promotion earlier in the day, but that the owners of this franchise had called, and instructed her to cease honoring the promotion unless the customer downloaded the app and placed their order through it. The cashier said that they were trying to get app use up. I had not initially had any intention of downloading the app, but was left with little choice, as I was already there. Reluctantly, I downloaded the app and placed my order through the app.
Upon taking a closer look at the ad stuck to the door, I saw that the ad was clearly marked as “Available in-restaurant or through the Wayback app”. To require customers to download the app was in contradiction to the posted advertisements. Additionally, it ultimately took over a half hour to receive my order, despite the fact that the restaurant was not that busy.

The burger was delicious. The problem is that I got Uber eats and they gave me no ketchup with my fries and no napkins. They also did not bring the drink I paid for which I did get a refund. The restaurant should make sure these mistakes do not happen.

I ordered online, and was advised that my order would be ready at 2:30pm, great! But then I pulled up and it’s closed. Yet the charge is already pending on my credit card. Why even let me order if you’re closed? Not to mention driving out of my way to go to an establishment that was closed. Beyond frustrating.
