This was OK, but the smash burgers were smashed all the way, and crispy. They also need season. I had to salt the patties. They were clean, and food was presented nice.

When you walk up to Wayback burgers in the Cordova mall you see it as a normal food court business… but let me tell you from the minute. I made my first interaction with Kentrell I was blown away with his happy demeanor and welcoming attitude. He is very personable and listens to exactly what you want.. William was cooking burgers and I have to say these are by far the best I have had in a long time they are cooked fast and fresh and made to order without lacking flavor or presentation. The staff is very clean and neat. The store is put together wonderfully and as you can see, they really do care about appearance and big on quality. Ahmon has a great well oiled crew which is something you don’t often see within a mall setting . If you are looking for great food with fast and friendly service with a staff who actually cares about detail as well as quality Wayback Burgers is the place to be.

I ordered a cheeseburger with fries that was ready in 5 minutes, and I wish I could order it every day. It was made fresh as I stood there and watched, and It was simply the best damn burger I’ve ever had. I gave my mom a bite and she said it was even better than a 5 guy’s burger. It was hot, fresh, and seasoned just right. The crew was kind and friendly and I can’t wait for another excuse to go to the mall, so I can grab a burger. Don’t skip this place!!

Came on here to say that the staff were very aggressive and in a poor mood. The food is mediocre at best. I got the bourbon bacon burger which was decent but the fried onion and the bun were soggy. My girlfriend ordered the chicken bacon ranch bowl which had old cheese. The food was 40$ and they forgot to add our side of fries and there was no option to take out. Honestly I will not be coming back and I’d personally try to avoid wayback burgers.

Food was okay, the sandwich wasn’t very tasty it was bland I tasted more onion than anything else, Fries and tater tots had no salt and flavor. The Brownie shake didn’t look like it was shown, it was okay honestly the wiped cream was the best thing about it. Wasn’t very mixed.

Just had these burgers while spending the day at the mall. Not only were they fantastic but the price was perfect! My kids devoured theirs and I appreciated a lettuce wrap option instead of a bun. The line for this place needs to be much longer than the Japanese place nextdoor.

If you are at Cordova mall and you want the best chicken sandwich you have ever had look no further than Wayback burgers. This chicken sandwich is the perfect consistency of juicy chicken tomatoes, lettuce and sauce perfectly fitted into a buttered and grilled bun making the sandwich something to call home about. With a smile and a greeting you will feel like you have known the staff your entire life. Last but not least the prices are affordable. I give this a 10/10.

Great friendly service! We were served quickly, a juicy burger with hot fries. They even offered to cut it in half as me and my husband were sharing it. Is it the cheapest meal at the mall food court? No. Is it the best tasting meal? YES!
