I tried their seafood gumbo during the Ohio Black Expo. This was my first time trying gumbo and it was sooooo good! They let me taste test it first which was thoughtful. The owners are from New Orleans which makes it even more authentic! And the New Orleans bounce music they was playing? 10/10 vibe! They gave a good portion of food. However, I wish there was more crab in it.

My wife has been telling me how good beignets are, but telling me to wait until I got to New Orleans to try rhem. Well after trying this place she told me that we need to go here together. I ordered the strawberry crunch beignets shrimp and grits, and the breakfast potatoes. I can confidently say that it was all excellent. The beignets were flavorful, great texture, and the strawberry crunch gave the perfect level of sweetness. The shrimp and grits were savory and felt hearty! You can tell the recipe is Southern! The potatoes were also very flavorful and tasty. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re looking for some good southern food or some tasty beignets.

The beignets and coffee are delicious! I got the strawberry crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch beignets and the maple brown sugar iced coffee. The cashier was very nice, we asked her a lot of questions as it was our first time coming here and she was very friendly and recommended things on their menu. I will definitely be back!

Found an amazing new restaurant! A hidden gem right near Franklin University downtown. The food is fresh and fantastic! I ordered a Beignet sampler and a Southern breakfast. Food was served quickly and was hot and full of flavor. I lost half my breakfast to my kids and had to order another! Great atmosphere and even a live DJ. We will definitely be coming back!

✨❤️Driving through town visiting and found this sweet little joint! The beignets were delicate and delicious, FRESH TO ORDER AND TOOK LESS THAN 10min. This place is a hidden gem!! Great coffee, friendly staff and amazing ambiance!! I just adored this coffee shop!! I felt like I was on a mini vacation in a French Bistro in Paris. Highly Recommend!! They have indoor and outdoor seating available and you can dine in or take out. I highly recommend dining in just to enjoy the decor and French Music. Perfect date spot or mother daughter outing or a perfect spot to go with the girls after getting the nails done!! ❤️

Also got the shrimp and grits, good portion size and tastes good. It comes as a meal with one beignet of your choice. Got the strawberry crunch and also ordered the stuffed Oreo variant. Both really good.
Came here on a Saturday which is supposedly their busiest day but there was no other customer at the time of my visit. Customer service was good though.

My first visit definitely won’t be my last! Stopped by today with a friend for coffee and a treat. We had the Beignet Sampler, coffee and Cajun Breakfast Potatoes. Everything was delicious! In addition the staff was so friendly! Kim took care of us and was so friendly!
I ended up getting two samplers to go, because I knew my family needed to sample the deliciousness! Don’t sleep on this place!

UPDATED REVIEW:
We live close and have been here a couple times since my original review. I have taken away 2 stars from my original review for a couple of reasons.
1. The wait time if you do not order ahead is long, I have waited no less than 20 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes each time I have ordered from here.
2. The employees that work here are fantastic but I feel like the owners/management aren’t as involved as opening week. I had an order that was messed up, I called up to speak with someone and got no answer ( I never do when I call). I left a message and still got no response. For a small brand new business I would think every customer matters and I just felt like it wasn’t important to them.
3. When ordering multiple flavors they need to find a way to package them. Each time it has been different and at least one if not more have been smashed or lost some of the toppings.
That being said the food and drink offerings are delicious and I really hope they can work out these small kinks. I would love to go back and have my original 5 star experience.

This place is such a treat, the atmosphere is beautiful. I loved the small details in decor and they have such adorable packaging. My daughter actually is using the bow as a headband. They actually stamp the bags, such a nice touch. We can’t wait to return!!
