Our experience was unfortunately just average overall. The service was okay, but nothing memorable — there were no recommendations or added touches that made the meal feel special.
The food was also average at best. The appetizer was the highlight of the meal and the one dish we truly enjoyed (toast skagen). However, the pasta was disappointing. The sauce leaned a bit too sour, and the steak in the pasta was chewy and seemed to be a lower-quality cut.
Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it didn’t meet expectations. We hope the restaurant takes this as constructive feedback, as there’s definitely potential. We had only wonderful dining experience at their PBG location.

Exceptional dining experience all around. We will definitely be coming back and be recommending. Service was timely. The food was some of the best we’ve had in WPB. Presentation was on point.

This spot opened around Thanksgiving, and I finally had the chance to check it out the day before Christmas Eve during happy hour. It’s a Swedish-American restaurant, though on this visit I didn’t try any of the Swedish dishes—saving that for next time.
I ordered the happy hour Old Fashioned for $8 and also tried the Midsommar Old Fashioned ($16), which is not included on the happy hour menu. The Midsommar is made with bourbon, house-infused blackberry and rosemary syrup, and Angostura bitters—very smooth and well-balanced.
For food, I went with the happy hour burger, priced at $15 (regularly $24). It’s made with Angus beef, aged cheddar, thin red onion, Bibb lettuce, red cabbage slaw, truffle mayo, and comes with French fries. The burger was good, though not the best I’ve had.
The ambiance is very nice, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. Overall, a solid experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try some of their Swedish menu options.

A group of us went tonight and we all loved it! We shared multiple apps, which were all fantastic, but the faves were the caviar, beef carpaccio, and shrimp salad. Entrees ordered were the meatballs, snapper, truffle linguine, and fish tacos. Again, all were amazing! And the espresso martini…..WOW!
We can’t wait to go back! And we will definitely be asking for Gustavo as our server again. He was on point, attentive, and very welcoming.

Great food. Especially the Strudel pastry desert with salted caramel. The homemade meatball dish and fish tacos were sincerely the highlights of the night. The beef tenderloin dish was not exceptional. Tough cut of meat and not worth the price. Bland and wasn’t served hot. Mocktail was on point. Service was excellent. Would return when in town.

Great new European food spot in West Palm. Good food and drinks, and nice atmosphere. The Garden Gimlet and Strawberry Whisper cocktails, along with a mule, were spot on. Fish was amazing, great tuna tartar and Cod Swedish style. Thursday night DJ’s music was so/so. Otherwise, we had a great time and will be back. Thank you to our server, Nicole, who was very kind and knowledgeable.

Waxin’s is an absolute gem in West Palm Beach. The food is consistently excellent, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented—nothing felt rushed or generic.
The atmosphere is relaxed but polished, making it great for both casual dinners and special nights out. What really sets Waxin’s apart, though, is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without hovering.
You can tell this is a place run by people who care deeply about quality—from the ingredients to the experience. It’s one of those restaurants you confidently recommend to friends and out-of-town guests because you know it will impress.
Highly recommend. Waxin’s has earned a permanent spot in our rotation.

We had an amazing dinner at Waxins! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. But the highlight of the night was our waiter, Shaheem. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience special. Service like that makes all the difference. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is a gem, but what truly makes it special is the bartenders Galo and David. From the moment i sat down, the service was top-tier — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling forced. You can tell they really know their craft: every drink was perfectly balanced, thoughtfully made, and tailored on my taste.Beyond the cocktails, it was the personality that stood out. Great conversation, great energy, and an ability to read the room, whether you want to chat or just relax and enjoy your drink, they get it.

Waxins in downtown West Palm Beach has a sleek, lively bar vibe and is an excellent choice when you want a proper cocktail alongside dinner. The space feels modern and energetic without being chaotic, making it comfortable for a long sit at the bar while you work through a few plates.
The beef carpaccio and the appetizers (Skagen, tunnbrod, and meatballs) were the clear highlights of the visit, all well-seasoned, nicely presented, and very shareable. The carpaccio struck a good balance of richness and freshness, while the others offered a fun mix of bites that paired well with a martini and wine and encouraged lingering there longer.
To round things out, the Caesar salad delivered exactly what you want from a classic: crisp romaine, plenty of Parmesan, and well-cooked chicken on top. Overall, Waxins is a strong pick for a night out built around drinks and elevated bar-friendly food, especially if you like to share and sample a bit of everything.
