Great addition to the area. Gas is usually about 20¢ cheaper than other stations nearby. Inside is clean with a solid selection of snacks and drinks. The made-to-order food is surprisingly good; especially for a gas station. Plenty of checkout stations, so even when it’s busy, you’re in and out fast. Only negative is that it’s so busy, but overall, definitely worth the stop still. I think people are just still excited for cheap gas!

I paid about 8$ on this bowl. I feel like this should be like 4/5 dollars for this bowl. This is a whole rip off. I came here a few days ago to get some breakfast and I was in a rush to get to work early in the morning. I have got to grab and go croissant breakfast sandwich. I opened it on my way to work. It was burnt so I had to turn back around come back up to this. Wawa and I had to get my sandwich remade. I opened the Package up and my sandwich was still burnt.

So I’ve been coming to this store for about a week loving the service and the drinks. I always pay the $1.00 for cold foam and I’ve never had any issues with my drinks but today I there was a woman named Sarah she didn’t acknowledge me she called my number I saw that it was just a squeeze of coldfoam on my drink I asked if I could get a little more since it was a small amount she walked to the food side and said that’s the amount that comes on there. I was still speaking and asked is that the portion for $1 because the drink didnt come with it I paid for it she tuned me out and kept working never looked my way or answered my question. I stood there in disbelief because I’ve never seen such at this store the reason I’ve been coming everyday for a week because of the good service and the nice amount fo cold foam compared to Starbucks and I have pictures of all my drinks and none looks like her’s. I honestly think she forgot the cold foam because usually my dried strawberries are on top. Also ok the sticker it says leave room for cold foam and she did not. The main purpose of my drink is the cold foam to be mixed in. She was so rude and unprofessional and it really took me out of my happy place into disbelief not sure if I’ll be back unless I know for sure she isn’t the one doing my service. As I was leaving one of the employees that usually makes my drinks he asked how was I and I said better if you had made my drink and I showed him my drink and told him how rude Sarah was he looked at my drink and said “oh no I’m so sorry about that” and I will leave it at that.

Dear WaWa Corporate
I have been a loyal customer of the Wawa on Veterans Parkway for roughly six months, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Initially, I was impressed by the quality of service, particularly from Andrew, who consistently demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care during late-night shifts. His dedication is truly an asset to the Wawa team.
I’d also like to highlight Jason from the kitchen, whose commitment to order accuracy and attention to detail have made every visit enjoyable. Having known Jason from his time at Arby’s, I can confidently say that he excels and would be an excellent shift supervisor.
On the other hand, I did experience some disappointment with the general management. I reached out regarding a potential food donation program for local homeless shelters, but unfortunately, I did not receive any follow-up. Additionally, I’ve noticed that some aspects of the facility maintenance, like carpet cleaning and pressure washing, could use more attention.
Overall, I believe this Wawa is a wonderful addition to Veterans Parkway, and I’m excited to see the brand expand further. I look forward to the new location at the New Albany and Sellersburg border and hope to see familiar, dedicated faces like Andrew and Jason in the team.
In conclusion, Wawa on Veterans Parkway is a fantastic stop, and I appreciate the dedication of many of its team members. I hope management continues to elevate the overall experience.

Wawa is what all gas stations should aspire to be. Most times I stop by, I don’t even get gas. Their food just does it for me. The menu centers around subs, or hoagies as they call them. Wawa offers seasonal subs, and classics as well. My go to is the Italian with crispy jalapeños, extra oil and vinegar and garlic aioli. The food is made to order and they even have an app to order ahead of time. They sell burgers and pizza(after 4pm) as well and have a smoothie bar for your blended fruit or coffee fix. It’s difficult for me to go less than twice a month.

Took 27 minutes to make a wrap and a hot hoagie! It was 7pm and not busy. They have 1 speed….Sloooooowww! In the photo. The guy making our sandwiches took over 5 minutes trying to figure out the tape! The guy to the left asked 2 people walking around the store for help and they both went behind the register and talked. Won’t be back, idk what the hype is about, lol

I love the store and shopping there to get food and their smoothies. But whomever does the DoorDash orders that get sent out for delivery needs to pay attention to what the items are. I placed an order on 11/24/2025 and I selected 2 Cherry Coke Zero Sugar and what I got was regular Cherry Coke. I checked to see if maybe I selected the wrong item and I didn’t. I was able to get a refund through DoorDash and I gave away the cokes because I’m diabetic and can’t drink them. But I just hope next time they pay close attention to the items.

Being from NJ, it is very exciting to see this beautiful new Wawa close by! The breakfast bowl was excellent – very healthy choice. My friend had the egg croissant and gave me a bite – better croissant than anywhere in Kentucky! People working here were fabulous – looking forward to going back as the gas prices are also unbeatable in our area. The only suggestion would be to PLEASE give people a place to sit down as a beautiful day like today would be wasted in the car!

this place is crazy to get into from Veterans Pkwy. I went shopping at Lowe’s and zipped right in. They weren’t crazy busy. I pulled in and paid at the pump. I didn’t go inside. I did notice there was NO fire extinguisher by the pump.
