The kind of “customer service” I have experienced at this Wawa, the last 8 months since we moved to Macungie, has been nothing short of pathetic and aggravating. There are people working in this establishment that have absolutely zero business working in customer service. In particular, an older woman who always seems to be having a bad day, and works in the back on day shift.
When we lived in Allentown, I used to go to the Wawa on Gordon Street, and never once had a problem with any of the staff there. I was always so pleased with the customer service that I went out of my way to write a good review on the staff there. These are people dead in the center of one of the busiest streets in the city, and are always hammered and have to deal with some of the rudest people 24/7, but never once complain, make customers feel like a burden and are always happy to help.
The other day I had to hang up the phone on a woman who answered like I owed her money. When I asked her kindly for what I wanted, she said “you know we have an app you can order from, right?” Something along those lines. No. I do not know you guys have an app I can order from. If I did, I would use it, but since I don’t? I thought I would call. That’s something I have done for years with the Wawa on Gordon, and never had a problem. I finally had to say something, so I responded with: “Never mind. This is clearly a burden for you,” and hung up.
I have had to hold my tongue almost every single time I walk into this establishment, because these people have a problem with God knows what, their JOB?? I hate being rude, but I’m about to start meeting your staff exactly where you are, because this is ridiculous. Sadly, ya’ll are the closest one to our new home, and I’m always in the go. I’m glad I stopped to read the reviews for your location, because now it all makes sense. You people just have a horrible reputation, period. I need you all to take customer service notes from the staff at the Wawa on Gordon in Allentown, please…

Been going to this location for a little while now. But within the last few weeks I have had my online orders stolen a number of times or items missing from my order. They put in an “oops something’s missing” card in my bag. When I tried to get the refund I was told since it wasn’t a delivery there was nothing they could do. That it should have taken care of it in store. You go in and it is all fun and games. Employees playing around yelling and having a good old time. Just as of recent all around horrible experiences.

I placed a mobile order for 1:40am for multiple items including a broccoli cheddar soup, they decide and becausevtheh are out of broccoli cheddar they cancel my WHOLE ORDER JUST BEFORE I GET THERE. They make me reorder EVERYTHING I JUST ORDERED and make me wait for the food I PREORDERED AHEAD. Only to then almost miss my classic buttered roll on top. Last time I went they forgot my tomato bisque and wanted to force me to come all the way back for a refund. Horrible service, garbage treatment.

On Thursday 7/3 I ordered a no roll hoagie. My order was missing half of the ingredients. I called the store, the manager apologized & said I could come in another day for them to make me a new one no charge. I went in today 7/7, ordered the same thing I did the other day. The worker assured me it was correct this time “with an attitude”. Nope, it was WRONG! Like how hard is it? Everything is on the ticket exactly how it should be made & if they’re out of something possibly, tell the customer if that’s the case. Extremely annoyed!

Two orders on different days were incomplete. Avocado toast ordered with tomato and bacon. One tomato, no bacon. Two days later ordered the same and got a good order – 2 tomato slices and 4 bacon. Ordered breakfast burritos with egg, spinach, sausage crumble, cheeses, jalapeño- got egg and jalepeno – no cheese, sausage or spinach!!
