I would give this Wawa 3–4 stars. The food is just average, and the atmosphere is nothing special. I can’t really say that I enjoy it here. I first started coming to this Wawa back in 2022, and at the time it was one of my regular spots. But nowadays, I don’t even stop by anymore.

While i was waiting I left my mom to get our food while i went to get other things and a nice young lady i think her name was lisdali, helped my mom personally came out of the deli to help her make her order! would definitely come again

Ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich, when I go to my car it was cold and cheese was unmelted. People there clearly don’t care about their customers! Don’t buy food here, just imagine how many other corners they’re cutting! Young kids not giving a shit about your food!

I’m a Wawa rewards member and love Wawa but this particular one is an absolute disgrace… I work an overnight job in NYC so I stop here 5 nights a week for coffee and something to eat for my drive to work. This night team is awful.. there is one woman who seems to care (shes an older Spanish woman) but everyone else doesn’t seem to give a damn about anything but talking and laughing with each other. Coffee station is a complete utter mess half the time as you can see from the photos I added. The chedder pretzels, mozzarella sticks, chicken bites, etc are available once to twice a week max. The donut croissant bakery area shelves are completely empty 3-4 times a week. The self checkout is clearly the only way they want you to pay which is fine I prefer that the problem is most nights one machine needs a employee to swipe a card and put a code in it.. machine will be beeping for minutes at a time line 6-7 people deep and there’s 5 employees at the sandwich station laughing and joking with each other or chatting it up with the people leaving their shift in their street clothes behind the counter in the sandwich station, eventually someone will walk over laughing swipe their card and keep it moving.. no apology no acknowledgment of the clearly irritated customers on the line just terribly unprofessional. There’s one girl tall heavier set with braids who seems to completely hate every second she is there. Don’t think I’ve ever seen her smile and most times she’s just staring at her phone ignoring the person she is ringing up at the register. The customer service here does not exist and needs to be acknowledged this Ian guy I see on the wall as the general manager should be completely embarrassed. The Wawa in Woodbridge and Rahway the one by Middlesex County College are all incredible, clean always have options no matter the hour of day has employees who greet you when they see you really what I’m used to with WaWa but this location is an absolute disgrace to the name. Hope they do something about this I guess only time will tell.

The perfect pit stop for a self-serve coffee or a snack wrap. The snack wraps are tasty, especially the chicken & bacon one. They have a lot of sandwich orders to-go, and they have festive holiday cups at the moment. Hot coffee and tea is self-serve.

Got gas paid cash. Have to give them the money first. Ok no big deal. Gas was 34 50 gave him 40. No coin change back! What BS is that. Use a card or go someplace else. I know its just 50 cents but it’s stealing. Its not a tip.

When it come to ubereats , DoorDash and GrubHub you guys are so unprofessional. Who ever manages this place needs to hire one person for food delivery and one for cashier stop abusing the worker and make them do both in the same time while make delivery driver wait 20-25 because the cashier needs to take care of them first before they attend the drivers . I never seen something so ridiculous do better

Gas prices are typically on par with others, but they tend to be “cheaper” but not the cheapest. Not all the gas pumps are in service, so you have to try to find one that’s in service. It would help to put the cones where they are more visible and not when you’re aligned with the pump.
They now have Tesla gas stations though maybe a little premature since I never see ir being used. Anyway, it’s there should you need one, at least 12 of them.
They have free air pumps for tires, usually with waiting involved in the winter. The free air is also about 2 or 3 out of 5 times out of service throughout the yr, so it’s a hit or miss whether you’ll be able to use it.

This Wawa air compressor machines are terrible . They either don’t work or deflate your tires. Hopefully they have some money left over from the renovation to replace those machines . It’s long over due .

This is a clean, very well managed location. The deli department is very good, not a long wait for subs. There is lottery here, as well as a kiosk to buy tickets. It’s a little tricky once you exit, traffic from all directions. Overall a great location, plenty of parking, gas station.
