I was brought here one evening by a friend who suggested I order the tomahawk and brussel sprouts. The food was delicious. The night life is very entertaining. There is a dj, bar, fun casual dancing as well as being able to step outside to view the skyline. This is definitely a place to visit!

Not what I expected. I had high expectations for this place but things were just okay. Not really worth the price. The waiter was not good at all. Let’s start with the wine. Most fine dining restaurants I go to go over the wine menu, he didn’t. No problem….I order resiling… The waiter brings out a small carafe of wine and pours it all into my glass and walks off. Most good restaurants bring the bottle to show you what you purchased. They then pour a sip for you to smell and taste. Then they ask if you would like to continue with that wine. After I smelled this wine I knew it wasn’t resiling, it smelled and tasted like Pinot, which I don’t like. I called him back after taking a small sip and told him I didn’t like it and it tasted like pinot. I ordered another wine which was decent, but the same pour and retreat. My sea bass was great but there was nothing with it but scallions and mini corns. They should have included some rice or something. My fiance ordered the filet mignon, which she said was more like chuck steak! The waiter was m.i.a. for most of the meal. I saw the water guy more than I saw him. When I needed him I had to flag him down. When we got the bill we realized why he didn’t care because his tip was included (20%). I usually tip %20 or more for good service. But I hate places that include it on small parties because the service almost always sucks. Nice views though… But I wouldn’t go there again. Definitely not worth the money!

We celebrated our daughter’s 16th birthday here and it was a perfect night from the moment we stepped through the door. The staff was so friendly and attentive, and all the girls loved their meals. They even felt compelled to take pics and post them; the food was that good! You can’t beat the views and it is such a nice place for a fun night out. Thank you!

I will start off with a positive saying that the view of the NYC skyline is awesome and being right on the waterfront is really nice and romantic. The negative, however is that I got food poisoning eating there on Mother’s Day. My husband and I ordered the same seafood/capellini dishes, but I was violently ill the next day and I am still not well almost 48 hours later. The only difference we realized in our food consumption was that my husband gave me his clams and mussels to eat. The meal at the restaurant was the only thing I ate Sunday so whatever I ate at the restaurant caused me to become terribly ill. I spent the next 12/24/36 hours suffering from painful bouts of vomiting and diarrhea. It may be just a one-off thing and it may not ever happen again, but I will never take the chance of dining here again because of that.

Overall experience here was great. We were able to sit outdoors on a nice day. Our server seemed less than excited to be serving us, did the bare minimum – no introduction, no review of the menu, just took our orders and brought the check. It’s always nice to find a waiter with a nice balance of checking in, politeness, minimal and appropriate small talk – he wasn’t it. Now on to the food! Get the Greek style chicken with fingerling potatoes – crispy skin, nicely seasoned….so good. The salmon my sister said was under seasoned. Zombie on water was a good drink, the bourbon tea was also not bad. I’ve had better crepes at a mall food court, it was overcooked with crispy edges and lacked the eggy component that crepes should have. I’d return again for that chicken and the ambiance.

Wound up here by accident and sure glad we did. The weather was perfect and the outside dining atmosphere was exceptional. Service was very professional. Now let’s talk food….the charcuterie selection was exceptional and delicious. The honey, olives and walnuts were a perfect compliment. The homemade spaghetti with clams, chilies and garlic had a perfect amount of heat. I loved this dish. The filet was cooked to perfection and were complimented nicely by the lobster mashed potatoes. Black ink pasta with shrimp was equally delicious. Shrimp was cooked nicely. The Sangria is a must try. For dessert we had the banana bread pudding with banana ice cream. The only critique was it could have used some crunch but otherwise it was very tasty. I’d definitely recommend coming here. Don’t let the name/catering part fool you into not thinking it is not a top of the line restaurant.

I was at Waterside this afternoon and this was our first outing since we have our little kiddo. Living a block away we have always wanted to try out the food but our outing was disappointing to say the least.
