We came here our first night in Maine from Oklahoma. This is what heaven must be like. Local oysters are to die for! Live music. Such a fun atmosphere!!! Staff is amazing and so friendly. You have to try it. The mussels were also a slice of heaven!!

We hosted a private brunch for about 50 people on top deck and were super happy with the food, the fantastic service and the view. And the tab was considerably less than I had thought it would be. Thanks to the venue and especially the very hard-working staff!

My boyfriend took me here last night for our Valentine’s Date. I guess they had some issues with their reservation app which caused them to overbook. They communicated that with us and despite being swamped the service was still good. I can’t remember the name of our server but she had dark curly hair, she was very real & friendly which I appreciated. We got the Valentine’s Day special, which was a 4 course meal with a glass of champagne. The food was amazing, especially the crab stuffed haddock (both me & my bf think it might be the best haddock we have ever had) and their cheesecake which was so fluffy. Our server even brought us the nice bubbly for being patient with her. We had a much needed romantic dinner here and we will certainly be back.

Amazing experience, they were very accommodating to us arriving later than originally planned. Very creative menu with good sized portions and tasty drinks. The staff are all very friendly and attentive to detail and needs. Lived in this area most of my life and this is the first time going here, I would very much like to visit again! Perfect for date night, family gatherings, or friends meeting. The live music was also great!

This restaurant is a treasure! We arrived in Edgecomb after traveling from NY state. We were weary travelers and felt so welcome. We were seated immediately and made to feel as if we were visiting friends. The service was outstanding, second only to Chef Fernando and the amazing cuisine. During our stay in Maine, we returned two more times and were again treated like friends or family. Meeting Chef Fernando makes it clear where the atmosphere originates—with his big smile, kindness and warmth. He is a gifted chef! Do not miss this experience! Having lived in Italy, and traveled in Europe, we were used to the slower pace of serving between courses. We love this about The Water’s Edge Restaurant! The staff, and Chef Fernando, were attentive, without being intrusive. We were completely relaxed and it was so nice not to feel rushed! I’ll attach a few pictures to give you just a small window into this remarkable restaurant.

For beer lovers try Lunch from the Maine Beer Company. A world class IPA. True accolades for the steamed green beans side. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had live music. Not too loud, pleasant. Excellent clams linguine. Would have liked a few more clams. Haddock sandwich with 2 filets. Potato wedges nicely seasoned. It’s classy with linen napkins, white plantation shutters. Staff so friendly and efficient.

First off Im from the NY/NJ Metro area so I know Great food & Great Service & Great Atmosphere and Waters Edge Restaurant has it all! You’re making a HUGE mistake if you don’t check them out. The Menu is extensive and delicious, service is great and the atmosphere is tremendous. The restaurant is on the water and the Sunsets are off the chart!!! Great place for special occassion and date night.

The food was delicious! The only issue that I would say we had was we were on the side of the restaurant by ourselves and we thought we may have been forgotten for a while but the waitress was very friendly. The music was a great surprise!

I was at your rooftop location celebrating a post wedding brunch on 8/23/25.
I can’t put into words how WONDERFUL my experience was from the location, atmosphere, service and food.
EVERYTHING was exceptional. I would like to especially compliment Jessica, our “server”. She was more than a server- she was kind, interested, helpful and, above all, efficient! She made sure everyone was comfortable, happy and got what they needed!
I know about service as I was a flight attendant with a major airline for 47 years.
Jessica went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience for all of us. She is an asset to your business!
Compliments to the chef as well. Several of us ordered the Eggs Benedict and the eggs were perfectly cooked!!
I will definitely put your restaurant on my “return to” list!!

The service was immaculate. The oysters Rockefeller were different from I’ve had in MN, but excellent. Scallops perfectly seared and the lobster bisque…fabulous. Thank you for a tastebud extravaganza!!!!
