Some dishes were excellent; some not the best. The atmosphere sells the place. Desserts were great: lemon cake and caramel ice cream. Filet Mignon seemed smaller than 6 Oz and slightly over cooked, but the flavor was great. Duckling was good. Brussel sprouts did not seem to have the kick the name suggests. Asparagus was delicious. Chicken Alfredo fettuccine was kid approved.

Really nice place, on the water (of course) and the staff was lively with energy, food was really good. Make a rezzy because it’s a busy place! Large patio on the water but indoors was really pleasant also. Has a large banquet area but they don’t Intersect and noise doesn’t carry over so you can dine and talk and hear.

We ate here on 9/29/25. We were staying on property so it was very handy. We asked to be seated outside overlooking the water. There were gnats and a very cute kitten named Garette. Neither was very obtrusive.
Our waiter was Benjamin. He was so kind and congenial. Even friendly. Our order was relatively simple…onion rings and a chopped sirloin dinner. Benjamin was so good about the timing of our app, salad and entree. He checked with us often enough to be helpful but not a nag.
The onion rings were very good with a relatively light coating. I had read that the wedge salad was delicious, and those reviewers were right! The chopped sirloin was fantastic and huge (16 oz.). It was probably done a little past medium, but it was still very flavorful. The mashed potatoes were amazing! Skin on, creamy and delicious. We were so glad we shared the app and the entree so we could get a piece of the lemon berry cake to eat back in our room! The tartness of the lemon with the sweetness of the strawberry sauce was the perfect way to cap off the evening!
We were very happy with our experience. Benjamin made it even better with his kind personality! Best of luck with your future plans, Benjamin!

Place was clean and inviting. Food was yummy! Wendy our waitress was great. Only thing was the host and some staff had very unprofessional shorts. Need a better dress code for an upscale place.

My family and I ate here while on vacation. We were very happy to find the Waterfront Grill since we were craving a nice sit down steak dinner. The food, atmosphere, and service was all excellent. If you are there on a Friday or Saturday, I definitely recommend the prime rib!

Went to the Waterfront Grill for dinner. 5/5 stars for the lovely view towards lake! Restaurant seems short on servers. Took awhile to get our food served, we were sitting around for more than 40 minutes before appetizer was served. The restaurant do have gluten-free menu options. Food is good, but not great. We had the parmesan crusted walleye and the Napoli flatbread with some desserts. Still had a lovely time.

I enjoyed eating here, the food was delicious, and our server was well mannered and not overly friendly. The prices are a little on the high side, especially the bbq pulled park with Mac and cheese when you hardly got anything.
The restaurant is near a hotel/resort and the lake. They have indoor and outdoor dining, and this place can get busy. We did not have a reservation and didn’t have to wait to be seated since we came around 5pm on a Saturday. The wait for our food wasn’t long either. I would recommend this restaurant if you’re in the lakes area.

We ended up at the Waterfront after Bracco’s told us there was an extended wait. Mistake. We should’ve waited for Bracco’s.
We were told upon arrival that the Waterfront was short staffed. We understand this is an issue across the service industry, and we did wait a great deal of time for our food to come. Granted, we had a very large table. But we couldn’t even get our waters refilled. The waitress was sweet and nice with every encounter with us. She got our dressings, sauces and extras we asked for once our food finally came.
The two star review is because the food was not at all what you’d expect from this nice of a place, and for the insane price you’re paying for it. The caesar salad was more than sad, it was downright disappointing. The portion of the entire salad was the same size as a $5 side salad. The chicken was $8 extra and didn’t even come on the salad.
The chicken alfredo pasta bake had zero flavor. The broccoli wasn’t cooked and the dish was barely hot. Pizza was lackluster. Spinach dip and onion rings were good.
Overall, just a disappointing experience. We will not be returning here or recommending it to people.
