Ended up standing and waiting for a while before being helped, seemed like the regulars were noticed and immediately assisted though a few had come in after my arrival. Got told I’d be seated by 3 separate people and was about to leave (after almost 20 minutes) when someone finally gave me a table. I had already reviewed the menu and tried to order but the waitress left before I even sat down, a different one coming to take my order after a few more minutes.
Food and portions were good, had to ask repeatedly for a coffee refill that never came, I chalked it up to it being near brunch and they appeared somewhat busy (several empty tables and booths but multiple parties of 4+), saw a lot of other tables not really being served much either though.
Had heard nothing but good things about this place but overall was disappointed in the long wait and lack of service, however, I will likely return and give it another chance since the food and portions were good for the price and in hopes that the service was just a fluke of an off day for the staff.

Awesome food, excellent service. Found this place a few years ago and finally made it back. Definitely a gem. Garry’s salad is a great combination. Wife had the chicken Marsala and I had herb crusted salmon. Both fantastic. Won’t wait so long to go back next time.

The food was great and came out pretty quick. It was very tasty. I do have to say the restaurant does have some dated silverware and we did receive a moldy-tasting soda, which was promptly replaced, but other than that I would come here again.

We (a table of 2) went on a Saturday night. We both had fond memories from when we were younger, and were very surprised at the changes. The music was very odd, the walls were a bright blue teal, and the lights were fluorescent. The food and service were both alright, and would have been made if the atmosphere was nicer. Warm lights, darker walls, and a drinks menu would have made the experience much better.

Best experience ever! 5* food and service. Cozy booths with very attentive staff. Amazing homemade cream of crab with sherry. Partner got the hand battered fresh Rockfish. Huge, delicate flakey inside. Wow Best mashed potatoes and tender tasty huge steaks and fresh veggies cooked to perfection. Wednesday night $7 burgers too! Take home famous homemade pumpkin muffins! Heard about this place all the way in Columbia. Decided to go check it out. Had the Philly sandwich and wife had a Rubin. Boy what a treat. The food was amazing and they had some of the best fries I have ever had in my life. They use some kind of panko coating I believe, and fry them long until they are super flavorful and crispy. They also had house sweet pickles which were super flavorful and delicious.

Excellent. Gentlemen was there just enough times to not be annoying and was very helpful. The staff there is great.

The owner heard we where first time customers and gave us an entire container of their house muffins. Which I might add was delicious.
There is a book store near there my wife likes to go too so we will go there and stop here for lunch every time now.

Been going here since I was a kid. It has a local family feel that most diner/restaurants lack. They’re pretty even all round. However, a gem that resides in the corner of a lovely neighborhood should not be overlooked. I hadn’t been in a while since I’ve moved back. It’s still has that panache. Lastly, but certainly not least. Make sure you grab their pumpkin muffins to go! They. will. Change. Your. Life.

The food here was good, but nothing special. It had a kind of dive bar ambiance, which can be fun if you like that sort of thing. The wait staff were very good and responsive, though. A good place to take kids as noise wouldn’t be an issue!

I ordered through DD and was soooo amazed at the presentation of the order. It was plated very well for delivery. The food is scrumptious with everything listed on the menu being in each ordered dish. The only thing that I would have liked is to not put the cold condiments in with the hot foods when delivering as those items get messy with the heat of the food. After this meal, I do not want to eat these 2 dishes anywhere else as they are one of a kind delicious meals. There is enough for 2 in both orders. Chef’s kiss!!

Walked in asked table for 3. Was escorted past 7 open tables to be seated next to the bathroom last stall on the right. Went in to wash my hands soap dispenser was filled with water. “Cleanliness is Godliness”. Spoke with a diffrent server ans asked to have my seat moved. She escorted me back to the front of the resturant. Was then pasted dirty menus, proceeded to place a drink order, grabbed the sugar packet out of the holder and along with the packet came a family of roaches. I know somethings are inevitable, but to be at the table with me. HELL NO!!!NOT NEVER AGAIN WILL I ENTER THAT ESTABLISHMENT.
