“Best cafe in the world” as proclaimed by my daughter! Sam and Sean have created such a warm, welcoming space with the coziest ambience. I’m obsessed with the avocado toast inclusive of hard boiled eggs and pickled onions – c’mon! So good. I love that you can build your own bowl/sandwich/wrap. The fresh baked popovers are incredible, and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how much my kids love the Nutella toast topped with strawberries. This cafe makes me want to move to Amesbury.

I had the best breakfast burrito of my life here. I believe it’s called Sam’s pick. It was nice being able to eat my breakfast and let my two-year-old play with the toys outside. I also got the fluffy peanut butter, puffin latte thing And that was also incredible. I can’t wait to go back!

super nice staff and yummy food. i got the breakfast greek wrap and the portion was large, you get what you pay for! my mom had the blueberry bacon grilled cheese. i also tried the iced gingerbread chai latte and enjoyed it! this place can be hard to find, so lucky we stumbled upon it 🙂

The banana cream chai is unbelievably good!! i’ve also tried the blueberry pancake latte, which was phenomenal. The ABLT wrap is delicious as well as the Caprese Sandwich. Staff is very kind and friendly 10/10

What an incredible addition to Amesbury! When you walk in, the staff is so friendly and helpful. The accommodations they’ve made for me and I’ve seen them make for others goes above and beyond, truly. Coffee is always on point and I’m currently working my way through their delicious menu. My current faves are the A.B.L.T wrap (super fresh, flavorful and light) as well as the avocado toast. Oh and the açaí bowl!! And I can never leave there without a popover warmed with the cinnamon honey butter! A very welcoming environment, good people and great food. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you haven’t tried Water Street Cafe’ in Amesbury yet, please go and treat yourself to the best breakfast and lunch, hands down in the area. Everything they make is so fresh and is made with expertise. My go-to is the breakfast burrito, which i modify slightly, and is always made exactly as I specify. The eggs are always super fluffy and cooked perfectly (i am very picky about overcooked eggs) the pico is fresh, not out of a jar. The burrito wrapper is so fresh and lightly toasted, not hard and cold like most wraps you get these days. The sheer amount of gluten free options here are mind blowing. My husband has to eat gluten free and is always amazed at the choices he has. I am someone who is very busy and always running from job to job, so I order online and the pickup is so easy! 10-15 minutes, run in and it’s always ready and hot. I can not say enough about how fabulous this place is!

Great spot for breakfast and lunch! Awesome breakfast sandwiches… had an egg quesadilla special that was just amazing! Been here for lunch and few times… homemade soup is crazy good… chicken salad and falafel is great too!
The people here are the greatest too. Owners give back so much to the community and the staff is sweet too. Just great all around!

I work around the corner from Water St. Cafe and my team and I come here way too often! This is a fantastic spot and we are obsessed with the breakfast burrito and veggie wrap (acai bowls in the summer, too!). Can’t recommend this place enough.
